Pure Strike 2024 thoughts?

Spoke to a babolat rep who brought the whole pure strike range slated for late Jan 2024, along with a new looking pure drive, and a new pure drive alternate cosmetic (like Wimbledon, but black and white).

He said the new strikes are meant to play identically, just with the flax added for a slightly different feel. When asked if that meant more muted, he said "no, just different."

Cosmetics: for those who haven't seen it yet, the stripes on the head of the frame look fairly similar in style, except they're now a neon orange on both sides, rather than the almost-red on one side and black on the other. The white, which used to have subtle flecks of metallic in it, is now much shinier, so it seems almost pearl-like in color. But more flecked than the Wilson Shift, I'd that makes sense. On the throat there's lots of little pure strike logos, (IIRC) not super noticeable. The bumper guard is now black.

The Strike 97. Does the current strike VS have an extended bumper guard? The new strike 97 does. It's like midway between standard bumper guard and CAP grommets. The bumper guard is also a semi-translucent milky white color now!

There is no Pure Strike Tour, right? Also the Strike 97 likely has no flex change or weight change from the Strike VS?

I'm sorry, there were quite a few strikes in the bag, so I'm pretty sure there's a strike 315, but I didn't confirm. The guy said there were no changes in spec for the 305, but he didn't exactly promise the whole range would stay the same.

Is the new Pure Drive for release later in the year or just a new cosmetic?
