Question: Why isn't Del Potro going to use the BLX Six One 95?

Del Potro used the KFactor 6.1 95 until now... Now he is switching to the BLX Pro Open; why didn't he switch to the BLX 6.1 95?

Wilson extended his contract and then he won the USO. They thought that he deserved his own stick, rather than a racket in the Federer line of sticks. And wilson does not need help selling the six one line, why waste his endorsement and not push another line of rackets. The early demo of delpo's pro tour was a 16 x 19 string bed, but since then they changed it to a 18 x 20. More control.

Interesting,

So previous to USO, Delpo was using Roger's racquet!

And now ...

He is using Delpo's one.

I find this smart and quite obvious move from Wilson, let's see how this is translated to Delpo's game and results.

This has got to be a paint job of the same racquet he was using. The BLX Pro Opens specs seem to be for an eight year old. I dont think anyone but Lopez will be really using that racquet.

Exactly....Roger endorses the 6.1 line so they don't need another top player to sell that line. It doesn't really matter anyways since DelPo was using a PJ anyways. So it's just a another PJ on the same racquet.

thats quite an ignorant comment dude. a racket does not make a player, guess that means roddick and nadal are good 8 years olds?

I think I'm right in saying that Nadal uses one of the lightest sticks on tour, its like 330-340g strung. But then he has got huge strength to drive the racquet through, and a lighter racquet might be better for the wrist when using a big whip.

Your too quick to throw around the word ignorant rookie. Plus you can't even spell.

The KPro Open had a swingweight of around 300. Hence my eight year old comment. I would think the KPro Open successor would have similar specs. Del Potro I believe uses an old Hypercarbon he grew up playing with.:)

That would be correct HPS 6.1 18x20. I highly doubt that he would actually be switching frames.
