I am very optimistic about next year's FO. Not only cool, but goat conv. will be over.

The way I see it, GOAT conversation is never over. Many players have very good arguments for the GOAT, but no player has it all.

I think that's one of the great reasons to watch tennis, to see if anyone will ever reach it and watching all of the fun along the way.

have u mentioned amazing achievement of beating roddick in 3 slam finals?

my favorite sampras moment was the way corretja served him a nice dose of karma when he came back from 0-2 down on a grass court against pete the great .LOL

oh should i also mention sampras amazing choke when he lost to corretja indoors at the year-end cships to corretja...yep petey had matchpoint too!

Corretja was a guy who never reached a slam final other than the french and yet beat pete on a fast indoor court on the big stage.

It's never over for Fed haters only. Noone has got it all, but one has most of all, and that's the goat.
Federer is the reason I am watching tennis now. For me he has already reached it.

yes, im a huge fan of fed i think its obvious from the thread. im not sure what the point of your post was but i want to say that i agree with dd, and federer is the reason i watch tennis. his brand of tennis is fresh and beautiful to watch. i grew up watching sampras and loved him but federer took tennis to a new level for me.
