They never played each other. Unique play style of Rafa will give Lehecka many troubles. Unless he hits Rafa off the court with all out attacking tennis. But do not see this happening on this court. Berdych otoh might give Jiri insights on which tactics to use.
Nadal to win this if his body keeps up just like it did in the match against Cachin

This lowly ranked player Rafael Nedal has been on a tear and I predict yet another win for him. What a week he's having!

This will be a very good sign of where Nadal is right now. If he is hurting because of going 3 hours yesterday we will find out. If he makes a total recovery and is in good shape this should be 2 easy sets for Nadal.

Nadal said he is not the favorite and that he does not expect to win, and that Lehecka's ball is more challenging than even De Minuar.

About the match - I think it will be a tough one for the old man. He didn't yet look too convincing in the match against Cachin. I'm expecting three sets but could go either way. Judging by the highlights and results, Lehecka is doing well here so far.

If this is indeed his final season I'd love it if just once he said in a press conference that he was the favourite.

Like proper Charlie Bronson bigging himself up.

Was it as the highlights suggest and Lehecka just coasted on a single break? As in there wasn't much effort on return except when opportunity came calling? In a way that's props to Nadal for easy holds no? Or is it a respect thing now on tour?

I know hindsight is 20/20 but how would this ever be two easy sets for Nadal? Lehecka is doing great lately and it's Madrid, where the clay is the most hardcourt-like of all clay courts. Lehecka would be quite dominant on serve so at the very least it would be two close sets for Nadal.
