Well yes as Rafa could barely get going for an hour he was so tight...djokovic said he knew he would win before the match as Nadal apparently turned up at stadium 8 hrs before the match!!
idt you know what a choke means.

Just wanted to hear you say it. Builds my confidence. His overhead is terrible for a player of his caliber. The only reason for this is his lack of confidence in this shot.
That is confusing. Translate.
How the frick do you meet all these guys?60% Nervous
Will get more soon.
Translation accepted.
Damn I got played. Alexa play "Boys Don't Cry"Just wanted to hear you say it. Builds my confidence.
Well Andy's not dumb, he'd seen it before.Translation accepted.
Murray stopped running because he knew he was going to miss it. My goodness.
if he loses the fed fans will storm in here and be unbearable as usual....and if he loses Federer fans will crash the site trolling...and Rafa fans will retort with Wimbledon and on it goes!!
It would be very strange that Rafa loses in this finals.Ive been hammered on here for predicting Nadal to lose since QF...yet despite scorelines making it look routine he could have been in alot of trouble in both his QF and SF matches had he lost long first sets which he came close to doing.
In both matches he has looked so nervous. We saw serena choke today...rafa choked in australia and to an extent in wimbledon sF.
Medvedev probably the worse guy to play if tight.
I must admit im pretty sceptical Nadal can pull this out. Any Rafa fans feel the same or are u all thinking Montreal shows the way. Personally im now hating Montreal win as that i feel will fire Medvedev up.
Watching this gif, it is clear than he simply does not follow through with any strength. Too relaxed when hitting it. How hard would it be to fix this?Well Andy's not dumb, he'd seen it before.
He's actually gotten a lot better at them. Whenever he does still do it, it's 100% mental.Watching this gif, it is clear than he simply does not follow through with any strength. Too relaxed when hitting it. How hard would it be to fix this?
I don't see how Medvedev can win, so I'm pretty confident. However, what makes me nervous is how it's all so nicely set up, like it's too good to be true and something bad is going to happen. AO14-like

With that attitude, of course not. You must will him to victory. Not nervous, I am not even going to stay late to watch the match. If he loses so be it, I cant do anything anyway.
And ill be the one left fighting fire with fire. Only reason i dont like federer is because of his fans they are utter amoeba. Most dont understand tennis. As for federer himself i like him.if he loses the fed fans will storm in here and be unbearable as usual.
Lol, come on. Yeah, Nadal without doubt should be worried about what happened in 1985, before he even was born. Not as nervous as in Djokodal/Fedal finals but still quite nervous. Also just came across this stat which isnt a good sign..
Playing bad matches under pressure isn't choking?lol at describing what happened in Australia and Wimbledon, particular Australia as chokes.
He wasn't worried then, but he can make it up now. The dawning of the Medvedev era is near.Lol, come on. Yeah, Nadal without doubt should be worried about what happened in 1985, before he even was born.
His is cursed at AO, not USO.As a Nadal fam I’m extremely nervous. Not necessarily because of Medvedev but because of how significant this slam is for Rafa. It’s so essential that he wins so that next year can be the final push for GOAT glory.
I just fear some injury will undo Rafa tonight. We all remember what happen in AO 2014
Yes, I understand what you say. A 4th USO title and 19th slam overall just sounds too good to be true.As a Nadal fam I’m extremely nervous. Medvedev is the obstacle.
Medvedev has not enough weapons, yet he's had one of the most stellar summer seasons in the Open Era.I don’t see enough big weapons that Medvedev has to trouble. A fully fit Rafa playing well will be good enough to win. Were this just a masters final i wouldn’t even be stressing. The greater the occasion the more tension that comes with it, hence Serena’s recent troubles in closing out #24
Rafa must win at all costs. That’s how important today is.
Rafa was never even close to trouble in the QF and SFIve been hammered on here for predicting Nadal to lose since QF...yet despite scorelines making it look routine he could have been in alot of trouble in both his QF and SF matches had he lost long first sets which he came close to doing.

TBH it's natural to feel nervous about your fav playing a GS final. I've definitely felt nervous for all of Fed's finals. If i were a Nadal fan, I'd feel nervous but confident in his chances. No Nadal fans should be nervous unless Nadal starts losing. Not against Medvedev. Nadal in straights is the obvious choice. MAYBE 4 sets, maybe.
This could easily be a thread. Not as nervous as in Djokodal/Fedal finals but still quite nervous. Also just came across this stat which isnt a good sign..

Surely you're not suggesting he is lucky on every point?
Don’t think he’ll choke here. 4 sets win.Ive been hammered on here for predicting Nadal to lose since QF...yet despite scorelines making it look routine he could have been in alot of trouble in both his QF and SF matches had he lost long first sets which he came close to doing.
