Recomend a 18g poly (full poly setup)

I currently use a full setup of NXT 17 and I'm very happy with it.

I'd like to try some poly, not as much for durability but more for power and spin, and I was wondering, if I use a full 18g setup if that would offset the stiffness and tension loss that apparently go with poly setups. By tension loss I mean that hopefully I'll break the strings before the tension loss gets out of hand.

So what 18g poly would you recommend. What I'm looking for is something soft (like my beloved NXT) but with more bite and power.

Thanks

signum poly pro plasma 1.18 is quite good, good price and a good string. if i would class it in the same league as alu power (i know its thicker) i dont know though!

Polys are low powered....if you are looking for a powerful poly then Topspin CyberPower is worth a try..

yep I would recommend that too.

It's a little stiff at first but after about 2hrs practice session it should be broken in and will have a great feel.

I use Luxilon BB Ace in my mains on my Prestiges at 52# - it's nice and crisp feeling, and VERY arm friendly (I have a touchy elbow, and have been hitting hard for the past 4 days with no issues whatsoever).

I put Pacific Poly Force 18 in the mains of one of my rackets at a low tension. It felt good. It should be equally as good in both the mains and crosses if you're used to a poly.

Only ever used poly once: a full string job BB original that I had to cut because of the tension loss.

I guess what I'm looking for is the softest poly that give me about the same power as NXT 17 but better spin. Durability isn't an issue, the issue is mostly tension retention.

I like Pacific X-Force at low tension (45). Low-tensioned polys don't bother my arm or wrist.
