Respect to Youzhny

I'd rather watch Youzhny than Djoker/Muzza, whose matches consist of the same exact point repeated a million times. Give me variety, character and grit anyday.

Muzza would be whining and moaning and making faces, Djoker/Rafa would've taken at least 2 MTOs.

Fed/Youzhny played on with no excuses doing their best, that's the way its meant to be.

Um can I just say that Youzhny played with heart and grit and trying to dig deep. Fed didn't until maybe he finally realized he need to be a little more serious and less nonchalant.

Why? Because he's a ball basher? Is he any good at it? No. Are Murray and especially Djokovic good at what they do? Yes. Tired of chumps like Youznhy and Dimitrov getting praised. Don't ball bash if you can't do it right.

The rest of the Big 4 simply had to be brought up and criticized. No they wouldn't have moaned or taken MTOs. In fact they played some 5 setters (against someone else as well as against each other) that were 100 times better than what Fed and Youzhny played today.

Thanks but I think I'll stick to watching Nadal/Djokovic as interesting of a player youzhny is.

Players with one-handers typically have variety. It's a huge pity that the modern game has made the one-hander a relative rarity but to me it's clear as day that a player who has mastered the one-hander can play with greater versatility than a two-hander, with the 2hander typically being a baseline grinder.

Will Fed lose to Lopez? Serious question.

I recall when Youzhny played Roddick in the 4th round of the 2003 Australian Open when both were only 20. Roddick came back from down 2 sets to love. Cliff Drysdale said they would end up playing each other in major finals.

Most of the Fed fans (not necessarily OP) were calling Youzhney "mug" during the match. Now that he has lost, he has your respect.

Lmoa ok.

Love him. Almost got bagled and was embarrassed by 3 serve return drop shots in 1st set and takes Fed to a deciding 5th set.

Yes to OP's acknowledgment of Youzhny's grit and heart in last night's match. He played on despite the cramps, took no medical time out, and soldiered on til the bitter end.

A true lover of the game and and great spokesman for the sport. The likes of Kyrios and Novak in the current field could learn a lot from him.

I'm watching it right now and I didn't enter in a provider (I don't have a cable TV provider, just internet). I'm in the US, though. Make sure you pick ESPN3; ESPN2 is still locked.

They all have little keys by them. You didnt clear your cookies, saved your login.

The usopen.org site links to espn3, same thing with the keys and login

I didn't log on, I don't have an account. I'm not going through the US Open site, I'm watching directly from ESPN. I don't have an account there either. If you try the ESPN site and you still can't access the matches, I can't explain it. Sorry.

You probably forgot doing it. But I'm pretty sure @Chadillac is right; it's only open to those who pay for ESPN via a provider. I did it a few yrs ago - thankfully it stores it and I don't have to re-enter when the app gets updated.

The best/cheapest way to get espn3 is through sling tv. Its a great service ($20) and gives you an espn3 log in.

You can also have someone who pays for cable make a fake email and it will work
