AO has just introduced tiebreak to 10-10 at 6-6 5th set.
Roland Garros is the best GS!
(I'm so f****** angry!)

Late for your manicure?FO still sucks...it's clay...need I say more. I prefer getting to a result without destroying a person for the remainder of a tournament. TB 5th may help to alleviate virtual walkovers late in a draw. If you are partial to unlimited endurance, watch marathons. I'd rather see skill and strategy.
Federer hates carpet himself. He was one of the players who said he never wants to see it again on the ATP tour.I only see one solution to this problem:
All majors should immediately move to carpet!
Fedr grand slam 19 and golden slam 2020 confirmed!
Never ending 5th sets is far more a problem for Wimbledon than for AO anyway. I don't know why they didn't follow Wimbledon's lead. 12-12 is a decent compromise. 6-6 is too early. Even in recent years, both Djokovic-Wawrinka classics would have been affected by the change. It just seems like a knee-jerk reaction
The French Open is the only major not shown on ESPN or ESPN2 in the United States. That tells you all you need to know about that major tournament!
You are correct, but the airings are always tape delayed and at most you get to see 3 hours of tennis. At the AO, W and UO ESPN and ESPN2 show a combined 10 hours daily between them and you don't hardly miss a ball except when the sorry commentators are more concerned about some idiot in the crowd! Roland Garros is the only major that gets no publicity or exposure on those two major sports networks in that country. It's very sad because Roland Garros used to be just as big as the AO and UO. Nothing in tennis compares to Wimbledon, but the other three majors were on a level playing field. Those days are gone because the AO has separated itself from the UO and has become the 2nd most popular major, and then you have the UO trying desperately to keep up with the AO! But the FO is just about obsolete and it's because of their unwillingness to expand and make renovations for the players and media! They better step it up big time and they also better step it up now or that tournament is toast as far as coverage and prestige are concerned!! Come on Guy Forget!!!!! Get it together!!!!!!!!NBC shows it.
I dreaded to hear these words but its happening here, now.TTW is now realizing what Rafa fans have know for ages, FO IS THE REAL SLAM!!!
It's funny that the one which has the longest matches is the one refusing to give in to match shortening tactics.
When are racist comments nice?He got banned for making racist comments. I would rather not say what they were, but they were not very nice.
The only gs without time limiting scoring doesnt have lights. Its safe to say pro tennis is a mess.
Records no longer matter, may as well have 8 gs's that use 4 game sets. It was really bad when they made masters in to 2 out of 3 sets and jabroni's like nadal and djok started winning more than lendl. Masters used to be worth so much more.
Pro tennis pretty much sucks now a days, but its still my fav sport to play.
It only tells you that Americans are not interested in RG. ESPN in an American channel. It's like saying that American football is irrelevant because many European sport channels do not put American football matches. The French Open is the only major not shown on ESPN or ESPN2 in the United States. That tells you all you need to know about that major tournament!
Servebotting at Wimbledon also makes no sense. Let them servebot until the end of time like Anderson and Isner.Makes no sense. Clay is all about grinding. For the fans who go to watch such play, a tiebreak in the 5th makes no sense at all. Let them grind away until the end of time at the FO is the way it should be!
Well, I wouldn't go that far. It still has the worst facilities among the GS.This shows RG not desperate to make changes like the others to attract viewers.
Maybe RG got the best management of them all not needing to go for extreme solutions.
Staying classy and not listening to the whiners
Clay has always been controversial because it is a great equalizer. You negate those baseline and big serve bangers and force them to play tennis, construct points, and use the full court. Even hard courts are emulating the surface to make the game more difficult. And to a less extent even the worst surface, grass has been changed to improve play. It's funny to see fan bases comments complain about slow when it demonstrates weaknesses in their players, but the changes and support of nuetral, more difficult courts has improved tennis immensly. Some of it has to be the neuatrialzing effect of equipment improvements as well, least we just end up with a serving game only. It would be like watching baseball really, where serves are like pitches and every so often someone hits one for at least a moment of excitement. But most the time you are just watching people stand around and a ball go zipping past them.
Personally I thinks tie breaks for match finals shold be in place.

Title should be French Open becomes the only GS.
