dude, that is most meaningless stat ever. the reason why he had a sub par game is because it was it fed returning his serves! fed ends up with more aces because he is a better returner than roddick. how many aces roddick before he meets fed is mute...

You do realize you just repeated the same thing I said?!

Like we both said, it's the return game that grows or limits the number of aces. Fed can surely ace his opponent a lot in EVERY match but Roddick fires a lot more aces than he does over the course of a tournament. Just because Fed is one of VERY FEW people who can make Roddick's server look average doesn't mean he actually is an average server.

And I don't think Fed is mute, he does speak three languages. Perhaps you tried to drunkenly say that this point is moot?

The problem with Andy's serve is that he just blasts it. Pete still had a lot more aces than Andre when they played and Andre is considered the best returner of serve. Andy needs to use more spin and go for accuracy not for 150mph.
