they really need to get into the Tri nations and be playing against THE best opposition in the world guaranteed every year

Yeah, because we all know how Australia and New Zealand have done
knocked out by two 6 nations teams and there's a chance the World Cup won't of been in the southern hemisphere for 8 years MINIMUM.

how can you say that the tri nations is not as good as the six nations, its the best test rugby tournament in the world besides the world cup, only one non tri nations country has won the world cup in the last 20 years, since it started. As for Australia, they were a disgrace against England, poor scrums ect, and there is no excuse for that, they were beaten. As for New Zealand, we come to expect them to be beaten in the WC, they are chokers. South Africa is just the plain best rugby country in the world just now. The tri-nations is the best tournament in the world, with the highest class players and highest class action, I dont really think you can argue with that.

So a team that's a "disgrace" who can't cope with the sheer strength of an England pack (it's been the same for years) and a side of notorious chokers (New Zealand) make up 2/3's of "the best rugby tournament in the world"?

Rugby sounds like it's in a bit of a mess if that's the case.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present to you the starting lineup for the South African Springboks for the Rugby World Cup Final 2007

27zfepi.jpg

OK, so heres a bit of Info on the above players, The Forwards.

At Number 8 we have Danie Rossouw, who has 30 caps, 9 in the RWC, is 198cm tall and weighs in at 115kg
Number 7 is Juan Smith, the man who ended Fijis world cup hopes with a try late on, playing flanker as usual. He weighs in around 110kg and is 196cm tall.
Partnering Juan at Flanker is my personal favourite player and IRB world player of the year 2004, Schalk Burger, 193cm tall and weighing in at 110kg, his favourite song is 'Sweet Caroline' by Neil Diamond.
Second Row number 5 is Victor Matfield, known for his Green and Gold Scrumcap, he stands in at 200cm and weighs 109kg
Partnering Victor in the second row is Bakkies Botha, who is 202cm tall and weighs 120kg
Now we move on to the Front Row, the Fatties as they used to be called, these men still need to be im prime playing condition and the Springboks always have a strong front row.
At number 3 we have CJ Van der Linde: 189cm and 125kg, believe me, Props come a lot bigger than this guy.
Number 2, our hooker and Captain, standing in at 188cm and weighing 117kg, you wouldnt want to mess with this guy.
And now time for the last forward, Prop and 1995 World Cup winner (the only player in the squad that played in the 1995 WC) Os du Randt, weighing 125kg and stadngin at 190cm

And now for the second part of the team, The Backs:

2hrfqyd.jpg

Starting off at Number 15, the fullback and most capped player in the team, Percy Montgomery, he stands at 183cm and weighs 91kg

Number 14, first of the 2 gas men, JP Pietersen, the winger who stands at 190cm and weighs 98kg, he already bagged a couple of trys against England in the group stages.

Number 13 is Jaque Fourie playing at center, is 188cm tall and weighs 96kg

Number 12, the young boy also playing center, Frans Steyn, 191cm and 100kg, this man almost got a years ban from rugby for biting a samoan, luckily though, there was not sufficient video evidence.

Number 11, undoubtebly the best winger in the world and new RWC try scoring record sharer, Bryan Gary Habana, standing at 180cm and weighing 94kg, this boy races cheetahs in his spare time (watch the video on YouTube) and wrecks mayhem with other teams defense.

Number 10, Fly half, is Butch James standing 184cm tall and weighing 98kg, this boy can be magical to watch sometimes, but has also made some big mistakes in his short time with the team.

Number 9, the Scrum half, is Fourie de Preez, this man from Pretoria is 182cm tall and weighs in at 88kg, this is the man that scored the interception try against Argentina in the opening minutes of the game.

They win the championship with a 15 - 6 victory over losers England

Overall the tournaments best team won.I honestly believe the final was closer than most expected and we certainly lived with the 'boks,we just did what the Oz team did to us and gave away silly penalties.
Game wasn't as good as i hoped and how long did the TMO take over the Cueto decision........seemed to be forever!!But your quote above didn't need to losers comment now did it?VIctory over England should of been enough I just don't get the inferiority complex so many countries have when it comes to playing England and there were much bigger losers in this years world cup than us.Still future is bright for the next world cup for both sides.......where is it being held though?

The game was not very good, I think the players were scared of running with the ball in case they did something stupid and lost possession. The losers comment? Just clarifying for those who didnt understand;) . Inferioty complex, don't know much about that, it seems that most other countries seem to dislike england at any sport, whether for historical issues or whatever. New Zealand 2011.

Clarification.fair enough!;) Sort of...
New Zealand, makes sense hasn't been there since the start properly.Scared of losing was probably correct but it's natural games don't come any bigger.France were awful though the night before I think we'll of seen the end of a lot of international careers after the tournament. We should be one of the best at rugby historically "it's our game, we invent so many sports and all these other people have the nerve to get better at it than us, so rude and secondly we've got more players to chose from than most countries.Though the RFU do do a lot better than the LTA in that respect!

I dont think that New Zealand should have the World cup 2011, Japan put a bid in for it and they were close to getting it, they should of, it could have increased rugby exposure in that area and hopefully make it a bigger global sport.
