Serena seems to like her chances of winning the whole enchilada at this French Open:
"I have something in mind, but I'm not going to say. It has something to do with clay," the 12th-ranked Williams said slyly. "I'm really looking forward to Roland Garros. It's going to be fun."

On paper, the obvious big favorite is Justine Henin but, because Serena's unmatched ability to will herself to win, plus the fact that she seems to relish proving the critics and naysayers wrong, I would have to rank her as a close second favorite behind JH!
"Everybody had written me off. Everyone was like 'she can't win a grand slam,' which I thought was outrageous," Williams told Reuters in an interview on Tuesday. "It was good. I like nothing more than proving people wrong."
Other longshot contenders would be Hingis? Sharapova? and Venus?
