Over the past several years I've never really listened to the radio in my car much. Always preferred to have what I wanted to listen to on CD (or now USB) so I didn't have to listen to commercials, heard the songs I wanted to hear, and could avoid songs with profanity if my children were in the car.
My new car came with a 3 month subscription to SiriusXM Radio (I assume it's XM, beside the radio it says 'Sirius' but the info they gave me said 'SiriusXM') and I haven't put a CD or USB in since I got the car. Mainly jamming to 'Hair Nation', '80s on 8', 'Classic Rewind', 'Prime Country' (wife and 15 year old daughter), 'The Message', and 'Radio Disney' (5 year old son).
After the 3 months runs out it looks as though they have a package with those stations (and about 65 more) for $9.99 a month.
2 Questions:
1) Do you find SiriusXM a reliable service (mine cuts out in the garage) and a worthwhile service?
2) Is there a way to get better rates than what they show on their website?
Thanks for any input.
