TT Songs You Love to Hate!!!!!

Had this discussion with the wife last night in the car listening to the radio. My wife was enjoying 90s on 9 on SiriusXM at an eatery (Tijuana Flats) and I found some songs enjoyable (laugh to myself enjoyable), but many I loathed. I am a subscriber to SiriusXM, so when my wife got in the car she turned immediately to this station, I was not happy. But the straw that broke the camels back was.....

Extreme - "More than Words"

I went a complete tirade on how terrible this song was and how it really made me want to break something. I have an "Extreme" dislike for this band and this song!!!!

Are there songs out there that do this to you, and it has to be a particular song, not just a genre in general. Anyone can say they hate metal (my personal fav), or country (my least fav), techno (bump-bump-bump-etc....) but do they know a particular song or artist? Quite possibly not. But for those that do, let's hear 'em.

Do you just not like ballads (i.e. I Remember You) or just this song? Any way I hate anything by Tesla. I love hair metal but I could never get into Tesla. The song I hate most though (besides most of todays crap) has to be Stairway to Heaven. It is one of the most overrated and overplayed songs of all time

Can't say I hate them, but I never could understand the appeal. When I was young, Jane's Addiction was popular within the college community. Never liked 'em; never liked REM either. All my friends thought both bands were best at the time.

I don't hate StH and I'm a Zep fan but you're right, it's a very overrated song.

Skid Row is great! My disdain for my particular song is when everyone in school was picking up a guitar, usually acoustic, everyone wanted to learn two-three songs, one of them was More than words, "Satellite" by DMB, and Stairway (usually to appease parents/dads). This was around the time I was in 8th grade-freshman year at college. Same few cuckolds, same repeatative songs.... I really despise Extreme.

It's funny, in our area each Tijuana Flats plays different music. Not a big fan of the 90s channel. The one band that will cause me to change the channel IMMEDIATELY regardless of the song is Nickelback. I can't stand that guy's voice, it sounds like he needs a lozenge.
