...He has been a beast since then. Which would be the turning point for rafa? If he defeats him in the monte carlo final?(the boy needs to wake up  actually he did better than last year in miami.) That's if noley even makes it to the final this time. Noley has been lucky that he has only had to play on his fave surface since the beginning of the year. Let's see how he fairs on the rest of the surfaces. @ wimbledon he has a lot of hurdles to jump before the final. On clay he's won rome and been in the final before, but has hardly made any noise at rg.
Can't see him achieving as much as fedal have. Not convinced this streak will last.

As I stated elsewhere, after his heartbreaking loss at the 2010 U.S Open final Djokovic and Vajda began to search for ways to close the gap. Around Christmas time they ended a perilous search and finally got their hands on the Necronomicon. Novak summoned a cross roads demon who granted him a higher tennis facility in exchange for his soul and here we are...

In cliched seriousness, everyone loses at some point. Novak is having a dream run and the confidence that builds can, at this high level of tennis, be the tipping point.

Its really hard for me to see novak as a true champion. Maybe we've just been too spoiiled by fed nadal, don't know. So he's the first man since agassi? To win back to back iw and miami..let's see if he can add something else to the history books. He's in danger of becoming the forgotten champion in years to come. Sorry novak

Do you really see anyone winning against the King in his current form?
Nadal was never a better claycourter than Djokovic, its just that Djokovic lacked stamina to compete with him.

whether novak says it or not, hes obviously worked on his fitness alot, that used to be his achilles heel, and im pretty sure the old novak would not have won miami or indian wells in 3 sets against nadal with his old fitness..

No. He's the first man since Federer to have won IW and Miami back to back. Federer is the only man to have done it twice.

Let's just wait and see, but be ready for some really big upsets.. I think Djoker considers Monte Carlo as some kind of "home" tournament since he lives there, so he must be very hungry to lift the Monte Carlo trophy too. And if he manages to beat Nadal there, then there's nothing stoping him to do the same at RG.

Nole is the real deal. I was wondering when he was going to wake up.

Well, he did.

But we can't forget that Nole is very good on clay. He just didn't have the fitness or the confidence before.

We'll see what happens, but I like Nole and always considered him my #2, so I'm happy for his success as well.

Will be for Murray too, when he gets past his brick wall too.

I don't get it, what's with the "let's wait for clay" reply every time? Ok, we know Rafa is the best on clay but holy crap that's a minor part of the season. Is clay the only surface Nadal can get his revenge on when he loses on hard courts? Even if Nadal does another clay + grass swap, Djokovic is still going to be the favorite for the year-end-no-1 ranking

Let's be honest, Nadal dominated the parts of the season only he excels at. The field on hard courts is uncomparable. If it wasn't for Federer during all those years, Nadal's field on clay would be close to none.

2 Slams > 1 Slam
6 Masters titles > 3 Masters titles (1 is not even mandatory, we already know 4 out of the top 10 players will be absent in Monte Carlo)
1 Masters Cup > 0 Masters Cup

when I said let's wait for clay I didn't mean specifically so Rafa can get his revenge. I believe Rafa can get his revenge anywhere, infact I would prefer for him to get it on his least favorite surface. I said let's wait because I want to see how Novak plays on the stuff to find out if this streak is just a hardcourt streak. That is all.
