hi everyone

i play tennis only during summer on asphalt outside.

so, can you recommend me some stings to my new aeropro drive gt?

i like tension around 50-52, and i want my new strings to hold whole summer.

ive been told babolat rpm should be good for me, what do you think?

What Larry is alluding to is that polyester strings have a limited number of hours in them, whether they break or not. If you peruse the Strings Forum, you will see annotations that polys last about 6-20 hours of hitting.

If you only want strings to last the Summer, then a good multi such as NXT (or variants), Mantis Comfort Synthetic, or perhaps RIP Control. Rather than using Wilson Extreme, I prefer using Gamma Syn or Prince Syn w/ or w/o Duraflex.

I work for Babolat. Like some of the people mentioned, in general, poly strings are made for people who play often and need durability.

If you only play during the summer, I would recommend trying a soft multifilament in a thin gauge. Xcel 17 might be a good start. This string is comfortable and holds tension well. The drawback is that it isn't as durable as RPM. If color is important, Xcel comes in black (like the RPM). Have fun this summer!

I work for Babolat, Xcel is a softer multifilament string. You will have to check with the shop regarding the tension.
if you work with babolat, then you should know how many lbs its prestrung with...

i bought mine from a online clothes shop, what would they know about tennis...

String loses tension over time. A racquet strong yesterday at 55 lbs will have a higher tension than a racquet strung last month at 55 lbs. There is no definitive way to determine the tension over the internet.

Try Wilson Red Alert.
Plays like other synguts but stiffer, more durable and more bite.
Or just go with std. syngut like Sweet 16, PSGD ,Extreme, etc.
