Every country has its nice and bad things isn´t it?

Switzerland: Bad thing-Federer nice thing- Martina Hingis ( more eatable than the best cheese&chocolate combo)

Russia: bad thing-Safin nice thing-Anna Kournikova ( more scultpural than the Ermitage Museum)

Hmmmm....from the State of Georgia to the country of Georgia....

I wonder what kind of answers would make you belong to the United States?

Yep, Serbia for me too.

Feels good to be from the same place as a major winner! I've got bored waiting nearly 80 years with Britain ;)

I think the Czech Republic means youre a Godless type, cynical about politics but still fundamentally decent if disillusioned.

Hard working, tolerant but enamoured of private existence with little confidence in public institutions. Sounds like me.

I made some changes but still get Serbia.

First page is almost all NO. No confidence in anything.

Ok, now i reversed all selections and i get Azerbaijan. I am now fine with bribes, abortion, don't like gay neighbours, don't trust people, go to church etc, and have confidence in everything on page one, and don't believe in God.

that one :) (if you said no to a gay neighbor you end up in Serbia)
You end up in Serbia if you hate gays, and your colleagues/strangers say you smell like sushi, lol.

(Just to clarify, I said i am okay with gay neighbours)

Another Sweden here. Shouldn't be too surprising and Canadians and Swedes often end up next to each other in various lifestyle / beliefs / values comparisons.

Sweden. While this poll is pretty arbitrary and obviously shouldn't be taken seriously, I have spent a lot of time in Scandinavia and always enjoy being in Sweden, but feel more at home in Denmark.

How does one answer the question about the gay neighbor? I don't really get it...

Somehow I got the Czech Republic, which is good for the beer, but I like the Netherlands or Canada more... AAMOF I'd probably love Canada.

I got Denmark

However, I don't think this test should be taken too seriously in that it asks for how people feel about it, not how it actually is. So it doesn't mean you would really feel most comfortable in the country the test reccomends.

For example only 34% of the Germans have confidence in their healthcare system while Azerbajian has 73%. I would still think that by objective comparison the former has a far better healthcare system and given the choice almost all Germans would still prefer their system over Azerbajians.
Or 6% of Italian and 13% of Swedish people are fine with officials accepting a bribe but while Italy has made a reputation of being corrupt (and I have personally experienced how they are pretty easy with their laws) you almost never hear such things about Sweden.

What's there not to get?
Are you tolerant and willing to give the people around you the choice to live their lives the way they prefer or do you belive that homosexuality is evil and such people are a bad influence?

What I find interesting (but not surprising) is that there seems to be a very strong correlation between being tolerant (accepting gay neighbours, no duty to marry/having children, trusting others...) and having a very high standart of living. People from Scandinavia or the Netherlands are generally very tolerant and their countries are universally top scorers at for example the Human Development Index.

Iceland for me.

Yeah - me, too. I've been backpacking there. Seems a place for tolerant outdoorsy introverts & very individualistic. Eg: People were not particularly religious, didn't care if someone else was, but absolutely wanted others' religion (or other personal habits) out of the public sphere. I felt very comfortable there. Beautiful place though I missed seeing trees - Iceland historically has been heavily deforested.
