He is the current top player and I believe there is a distance between him and Rafa/Roger except on clay. So I don't find anything wrong and of course, you can disagree.

Every time Roger is playing a top three member, there will be so many threads ridiculing Roger anticipating his lose. Like Roger was a weak era champ, he has to win to save his legacy, GOAT hood is in doubt, and penalizing him for his fantastic achievement of reaching Wimbledon semifinal at almost age 38! Those are the threads with malice and bad taste.

So, there is actually some good evidence to support a Federer victory and it's not just based on emotions.

But, I also predicted Conor would beat Khabib, Conor looked mentally stronger. But, I guess with them the gap level in skill was too much in Khabib's favour, so it didn't matter.

But, Fed looks mentally stronger than Nole today and their skill level looks similar even a bit in Fed's favour, so this is not the same.

For me it’s the ‘walkabouts”, the sense that sometimes in the middle of a match he loses focus and lets the other guy take control. That’s why I was so surprised by the AO final
