The new Gamma 6004 w/ 6-Point mounting system

Does anyone have experience with this machine? Apparently, it has a new table, clamps and clamp bases:

The Gamma 6004 6-Point Self Centering Mount Stringing Machine:
  • Manual spring tension winder 9 to 90 lb (4 to 43 kg) tension range
  • Patented rotational string guide
  • Diamond coated string gripper
  • Reversible Handle
  • New A600 mounting System w/sleek ergonomic mounting arm design and 360 rotation. Fixed non-adjustable "V" mounts secures frame to prevent movement during string installation. Mounts wide range of frames from mid to oversize tennis racquets to badminton and racquetball. New "Quick Lock" feature replaces Self-Centering (SC). Quick Lock offers fast/easy mounting for all size frames. Bead blasted surface is extra smooth and durable to ensure smooth clamp base operation. Scratch resistant surface ensures easy clamp base operation over life of machine. Fine adjustments at the head and throat are hexagonal for added stability and are triple threaded to decrease time spent mounting frames.
  • Updated Auto Release Clamp Bases: The MARC11 update includes an engineering plastic bottom plate which works in conjunction with the new turntable surface to increase smooth operation. Engineering plastic reduces risk of scratching and residue build up over the machine’s life Newly designed clamping chassis also designed to increase movement speed and efficiency
Any input would be much appreciated ....

Gamma has video showing the new tables. Starring @GammaTech himself!

They came out in May. Interesting changes.

True but the second is not a 6004.
SMH.....why muddy the water? The 1st vid talks about the NEW A600 table....the 6004 verbiage: "New A600 mounting System w/sleek ergonomic mounting arm design and 360 rotation" Forget the 2nd vid. It's totally irrelevant. This is the very reason I left Tennis Talk some years ago......... People posting to increase their "comment count".

Irvin…the man simply posted the vids showing Gamma’s new line-up of turntables across two models of machines. Of course both the turntable comparisons of old vs new shown in SEPARATE videos are not the latest iteration for the 6004…only the A600, which was made very clear by the OP in his comments that that’s the new iteration. All someone has to do then is look at the vid titles to see which applies. Lol

This is 4th grade level comprehension stuff right here to figure out.

Thank you.

I used to hangout here a few years ago but bailed because of stuff like this: People spewing completely irreverent shyt just to either make themselves feel important of to elevate their "post count"

USMC-615.....THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

The 6004 comes in 2 point and 6 point models. Can I assume the 2 point never changed and still has the same old base clamps or has it been updated also? Or did the 2 point table change also? Does it have the newer tower adjustments?

I have no idea

Sorry no experience here. Have strung on a gamma machine in a while. It’s about time they revamped the clamps and mounting system.

Do you guys think the price is justified? At that price you can spend a few hundred more to get a XLT.

The thread title LITERALLY SAYS 6-point mounting in the title, but yes.....let's please discuss something ENTIRELY UNRELATED to this thread.

Par for the course....

I had pizza last night. That is every bit as relevant to this thread as 2 point mounting. None, zero, zilch, nada. I'm just here to state the obvious.

I copy/pasted and added quotes to the above from @dgdawg 's opening post for anyone who cannot comprehend what machine he has questions about. And there is one machine and only one machine on this planet that fits this criteria...it is the Gamma 6004 6-Point Self Centering Mount Stringing Machine! Period...end of discussion!! And if you look a little further down the thread, Mjolnir was kind enough to post a Tube vid of the New A600 turntable/mounting system that applies solely to---wait for it...wait for it...hold your breath just a little bit longer, you're almost there...the Gamma 6004 6-Point Self Centering Mount Stringing Machine.

2-point, 12-point, 52-point, 202-point comments have zero relevance to the OP's intent and questions here. If anyone needs plain English broken down for them, please PM me, I'll take one for the team and help dgdawg here and instead of wasting his time, I'll spend a few minutes with you and do my best to explain to you on a fourth-grade comprehension level. And I won't even charge you for my very therapeutic time.

I would very much like to see both a 52pt and 202pt mounting system. Please provide detailed photos. :-D

@Irvin @Rabbit @dgdawg To shed some additinal light on some of your questions here, just to confirm, no the 2pt tables are not being updated on any of our machines. the basic reasoning is becuase we find the sentiment that dgdawg has expressed to be the general consensus of the market. While the 2pt system Gamma uses on professional machines (tychnically it's actually a 4pt mounting system) is the best you'll find in my opinion, it's hard to justify it's use over a 6pt system.

Does anyone have any insight on if the A600 mounting system would be compatible with a progression ST base? from the pictures the screws look like it would be the same but I am wondering if the brake system is also the same?

@Zeustheman You can mount a table fitted with an A600 system to any of our machine accept our drop weights. Brake systems are slightly different but work the same way and are compatible.
