The older beasts.....hypothetical scenario

Well, its a shame that top3 guys from 2007 are still top3 in 2019 and contesting for big titles...So let it be...and consider their best old versions to play against each other

After all, its a fedalovic thread again....
Let's consider their reincarnated or rejuvenated versions and put them to play against each other... Who wins??
Considering the best and most beastly versions of big3 2.0 or 3.0(in Fed's case)...

So it gives us :-

Federer Indian wells/Wimbledon 2017
Nadal Roland Garros/Monte Carlo 2017
Djokovic USO/Shanghai 2018

These imho are the best versions of older beasts

Who beats whom at the following given BO3 scenarios??

1) Indian Wells
2) Rome
3) Shanghai
4) Canada
5) Miami
6) Madrid

Who beats whom at following BO5 scenarios??

1) Australian Open
2) Roland Garros
3) Wimbledon
4) US Open...

Let's have a good time and discussion friends....
Hope all of us will put our fan bias aside and give as much honest opinion as we all can...
Happy makar sankranti / Uttarayan in advance to all kite lovers in the world

Obviously Federer, Djokovic and Nadal peaked at 22-23 and would destroy their more recent versions

Some of those names I’ve never heard of. Would that be in chess, darts, billiards?

Have to disagree about Federer's peak. He played better in 2015 than he did at 22-23.

I’m an 80’s and 90’s person. In addition to above list of athletes that do pretty damn well in their thirties, there’s been loads of athletes in history that did well in their late careers:

Wayne Gretzky
Michael Jordan
Kobe Bryant
Tim Duncan
Jerry Rice
John Stockton
Geordie Howe
Randy Couture
George Forman
Martina Navratilova

All the above are legends of the game, team and single sports, including Martina from our tennis universe. It may have been a trend for tennis players to retire early, one that perhaps changes in coming decades.

Irrelevant answer to my question...
And yes... 2004 /05 fed, 2008/09 nadal would give breadsticks and bagels to their older versions...
Not sure about djok as he was a late bloomer

The only problem is that Djokovic is not anywhere near as old of a beast as Federer is. Even when you look at Roger’s old peak as you refer to it (Indian wells 2017), he was 35.5 years old. That’s four years older than Djoker is now. I refused to compare 31-year-old player to a 37-year-old player in anything.

Sure, Djokovic is old for a tennis player and Nadal at 32 is even older. But Federer is geriatric and ions older in athletic teens. He’s also a different generation entirely from them both.

Fed at Wimbledon. Novak at AO & USO.

But Federer is still 5 & 6 years older than them. 2015 Federer wins on AO-WMB-USO.

You mean he's once had a relevant answer to a question?

But what else versions can we compare???
I mean 31 year old (2012) fed would win almost in all scenarios except for RG...
So I had to take fed 3.0 beast

And that's the rub isn't it. All of these GOAT and or comparison threads refuse to acknowledge that prime ******* did and would consistently hand any player (of that same age) their arse tied up with a pretty pink bow, something all the stat faker fiends consistently ignore. Roger is GOAT.
