i stopped watching after awhile.. for some reason i felt some sadness watching this.

his arms sure are skinny. like very skinny. maybe he has some problem with his body.. preventing him from doing a normal stroke.

as long as everyone is having fun then good for him. he sure seems consistent.

4.5 tho?

Here, let me save you the time...

4.5? No, this is not possible, this is a beginner level serve and weak groundstrokes. He would struggle to play at 3.5 in my area

Dont know what its like in your area but a couple years ago i was playing like orange man, less mobile probably, and i was beating 70% of 4.0s in my area.

I haven't played leagues in a while, but I think current 4.5s in my area are more like 4.0s from when I was playing leagues. So I could see that guy doing reasonably well at 4.0/old school 3.5. He seems very consistent and quite mobile. That's all you need to beat a lot of players. "True" 4.5s in my book have actual weapons and can win games with offense vs not lose them, so I'm not sure he rises to that level. Of course I couldn't watch much of the video before becoming bored so maybe there is more that I didn't see.

That looks like the world's worst 8.0 Mixed.
Asian guy is too enamored with his groundstrokes to play actual doubles and target the opposing woman and come in. None of them can serve. Orange guy just runs around "getting it done" by putting the ball back in play and no one takes advantage of the fact that all his strokes could be hammered out of the air if they came in.

Easy to comment; tougher to execute when in the match.

Serves at least go in. Punishing a weak serve is easier said than done.

"just runs around 'getting it done'" is no small feat, as evidenced by the fact that so few people can or are willing to do it.

How many at this level are comfortable hitting swinging volleys and moving in? Not many, most likely.

Are there weaknesses to be exploited? Sure. But the key is how able are people at this level to exploit them?

I contend it's tougher than it sounds.

This looks about 3.5 level to me, definitively not anywhere close to 4.5.

I got beaten by my lady doubles partner last week because I tried to power hit. It wasn't a new low she was just on fire on ROS. I honestly think placement beats power these days. People r very comfortable with hard hitting.

well that only proves you dont know what tennis looks like
this is fact that orange is 4.5 so good now you know what 4.5 and 3.5 is
I think this rating thing is highly dependent on which region of the country you’re in. Or maybe cause it’s a mix doubles rating so it’s different than like a regular men’s double. That’s good to know.

To me, the mixed video has engendered the highest quality discussion this forum has ever seen; and it should be honored.

Nah my bageled match journal thread is the highest of the high. The sheer variety of ways I manage to lose matches is unequalled.

Orange man has Nick Kyrgios' slouch, so I have high expectations for his serve.

Edit: I am disappoint
