To win more Masters in career - Nadal or Djokovic?

Currently it stands at 27 for Nadal and 19 for Djokovic, also the next 6 Masters are played on HC's. Who ends with a higher number of Masters won at the time of retirement?

This is going to be close I say Djokovic becuase Djokovic will still play tennis and be a big contender for all the masters whilst Nadal is retired! With No Fed and Nadal Djokovic will have it easy! Nadal has federer and djokovic to deal with now djokovic will have 2 slamer murray to deal with even on clay!

Nadal. He isn't done winning tournaments yet imo and there is such a big gap in the numbers between Nadal and Djokovic. I think it is unlikely Djokovic will catch up here.

How long do you think that will be? Djokovic is less than 1 year younger than Nadal. (Djokovic turns 27 this coming week and Nadal turns 28 next month).

Djokovic will overtake Federer's Masters count this year for sure.

I would be surprised if Nadal wins less than 3 more - probably closer to 5+. So Novak needs at least 11 more. That's 4 per year for the next three years - a big ask.
So yeah - Nadal will probably edge this one.

Nadal will retire at 30ish:-| Nole will be 29 But is a machine and will be winning masters on clay and hard plus there won't be anybody to stop him at RG? Nole wins atleast 10 clay Masters before He retires!

Again, there is no evidence, to date, that Nadal is going to retire much more earlier than Djokovic, being that there is less than 1 year difference in age.

But Nadal looks to have more mileage then even Federer. Djokovic has a good schedule as well where he only plays 15 events or so!

If Murray gets his act together then he's Nole's biggest threat. If you account for some decline then, the young generation will take up the mantle. Guys like Janowicz, Raonic will soften him up with their big serves and baby Fed and Tomic will finish him off. Also the Dog, don't underestimate the Dog!

Nadal has much too big a lead. He'll finish with more masters than Djokovic IMO.

Most probably Nadal, an 8 difference is quite a lot and i dont think nadal is finished winning them yet
