Then that becomes a bit like 'psycho'.

I thought the person tied up was alive also because Errol said he would bring him water if he was good.

The finale was intense. With Rust chasing Errol through Carcosa I was on the edge of my seat. I thought for sure Rust was going to die. And Errol is frickin tough. Marty put 2 or 2 bullets in him and it didn't even faze him.

I wonder with Rust's near death experience, the way he was so emotional, does that mean his view on afterlife and time has now changed. It was really odd to see Rust that emotional over that.

Sad to see this season end. I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to another season of this. How can it ever be as good? It's all about the characters though I guess. If they can make interesting characters we want to watch and care about, then the second season should be good.

Yeah but errol was quite clearly insane, as with Marty, he went in looked and left. If he was alive wouldn't he have helped him in some way.

Oh, Carcosa was magnificent, Errols voice made the thing perfect.

I think he has a more positive outlook on life. But I wouldn't go as far to say his views have changed completely.

I wonder .... just wonder that not maybe in the next seasons but a few seasons down the line, would the creator go back to this storyline? Because Rust did say at the end that there are others out there...Errol was just one of them (Even though the case with the others belongs to the FBI, not Rust and Marty when their case was only with Errol's)

To hear this from Cohle was just perfect. A great tie off to his development considering he was nihilistic.
