We all know that TT runs stock vBulletin forum software with the added header graphic. I'm guessing that this really helps whenever you have to update the software version. I own several boards and like to keep them simple as well for the same reason. Also, stock software allows less security problems.
Anyway, since TT uses the unmodified script, the options are pretty much set on default. Here are a couple that I think could change to make the forum a little bit better:
1. Signature size and style
I agree that the sigs should be kept text-only to prevent people abusing them with huge graphics, but maybe adding a little color to them, bold, italics, etc. wouldn't hurt. Also you could increase the maximum length so that more info could be included. You can enable font sizes as well an limit it to, say, 4.
2. Maximum amount of pictures per post
The default limit of 4 is kind of short. I mean, when posting racquet pictures, tutorials, guides, etc. you usually post more than 4 pictures. I agree that removing the limit or increasing it to 20 is probably overdoing it, but maybe increasing it to 10 wouldn't hurt.
Neither of these increase the server load significantly or represent security threats.
