I voted Haas in 5 but Blake has been playing really well though I couldn't completely watch the match again Koubek. I supremely get tired of watching, "bash-bash-bash, net. bash-bash-bash-out..." and so forth. Am not in any way doubting or knocking their skills, but a little change up would be refreshing. Haas might be able to do it, though he started very slow against Petzschner the other day.

I wouldn't mind the outcome either way, since both players are interesting to me. Like mentioned before, neither of 'em will present a problem to Fed, but if I had to pick, I'd say Haas...simply because I've already seen enough of Fed demolishing Blake.

These kind of matches are hard to watch. Nice to watch too, since you seem some quality tennis and rallies, but so many periods of uncertainty and loss of confidence. It pretty much spells out why two pretty good players who have been near the top a certain period of time will never win a Grand Slam.

After Blake breaks Haas to win set 3 with a double break advantage, Haas starts the 3rd by breaking Blake. Haas fights off some break points in Game 2, and is now fighting to break Blake again in Game 3.

It is entertaining for sure, and since I dont personally favor one player much over the other it does not grate on the nerves too much either. Also though Blake is 1-9 or 1-10, whatever starts with a 1, in 5 set matches now after beating Santoro in 5.

blake doesn't seem to be moving his feet and he's feeding the ball right to haas' forehand, or at least he's letting him tee off on all of his weak groundstrokes. i think he's tired. he needs to really go toe to toe with the power on the rallies, playing it safe is not working at all. its painful to watch right now, i can almost smell another bagel
