That's it. He is going to lose. Schwartzman stopped missing...Losing a set from 4-0 up lol. Only Nadal is able to do that.
Don't worry. Diego will get broke in this game or next and lose the set. Then 2 more quick ones. This level will not hold for more than 5 minutes.

Nadal is REALLY intimidated right now. I think this set is gone.
And if Nadal doesn't play well in set 2 - this match could be over.

god, Diego would be such a monster if he was a tad taller.

then again, the smaller stature is the reason for his great defense

"He still got a lot of work to do".

LOL, Johnny Mac trying to make up for his early gloom-and-doom comments when Schwartzman was down two sets.

I don't think Nadal is playing bad. Seriously Schwartzman is just a tough match for him because he can stay with Nadal on the baseline.

Schwartzman isn't making errors at all. Even started serving much better. From 4-0 to losing the set 6-4, bravo Nadal!!!

The match is on Diego's racquet. The only point Nadal wins is when Diego makes a UFE.
The World #2 - 18 slam winner getting BOSSED around. Pathetic.

Diego's backhand >>>>>> Nadal' forehand at this time.

Right, he wouldn't be the same player if he were taller, he'd be sacrificing some lateral quickness for his defense and the slight increase in his range and serve wouldn't make him better. The optimal size for a modern men's player would be a Djokovic or Federer build.

every time Rafa hits the ball it sounds like his string's gonna break. how tight are those things??

He is a fighter. Nadal is going to have to muscle him around.

Nadal doesn't even have to overpower him to move him because he hits with so much topspin. This honestly looks like Nadal is doing this on purpose. This is fishy for him to allow Diego to win so many easy points.

Are you serious? Nadal is straight setting this. I don't know if he's letting Diego back in for the TV drama or because he's tanking, but he's winning this thing along the lines of 6-4, 6-2, 6-0 or something if he's not throwing games. And I love Diego because I'm a 5'6" former college player, but this match-up is not right for him. He'll have maybe 1 or 2 comforable service games from here on out.

You R not Diego regardless of your height, you can dream though
