I posted a thread about the USO performance of all the 4 semi-finalists. I was also curious how they have done on fast hard courts in the last 12 months.

On fast hard courts, after USO 2014:
Federer-----35-1-----73-9 in sets (89%)------D/R 1.50------5 titles & 1 final
Stan----------20-8-----50-23 in sets (68%)----D/R 1.07------2 titles & 0 finals

Yeah it could go either way. It's not super objective. But if I take those two out, Federer will look even better! undefeated!

Paris and WTF is definitely NOT fast, it's not even a subjective opinion.

So technically speaking, after losing to Cilic last year, Fed is undefeated on fast hard courts...

The same company prepares Paris and WTF courts. They're no longer fast courts.

As stated above. Removing Paris and WTF make Federer look even better. But I will rerun the numbers and post if I get home before the semis.
