Volkl C10 Pro 98?

The Volkl C10 Pro 98:
How would you rate this racquet?
I'm looking for a racquet with great feel, good control and spin and decent power.
Right now I 'still' play with the Head Prestige Classic, but I have tried the Pro Tour 630 and Premier Tour, and I didn't like both really that much.
The Premier Tour did offer me the spin, which the Prestige didn't but the racquet felt just too flexible to me.
Last week I tried the new Volkl V-Engine Tour 10 MP, and liked it very much, but now I could get a pair of Volkl C10 Pro 98 for a very good price.
Would this be a nice racquet for me you think?

I thought C10 played heavier than Prestige Classic and Pro Tour (I haven't played with the other 2 you mentioned). It felt stable due to its sheer weight, and it has a really comfortable soft feel. However, it was simply too heavy for me to use effectively for an extended period of time. Quite surprising that it only has specs of 12.2oz/SW323; I thought it played heavier than that.

What didn't you like about PT630?

The racquet felt kind of clumsy to me, I didn't get the spin I was looking for, only with Big Banger Ace, but this one broke within 3 hours.
And I just didn't feel comfortable going for topspin strokes on my forehand.
But Maybe I should give it another try.

I went from the Prestige Pro to the C-10 Pro, and I'm more than satisfied. It's stiffer than the Prestige (still nice flex), lot of spin and good control. More power, IMO, than the Prestige.
my .02$

Does the C-10 Pro feel heavier or lighter than the Prestige or equal?
I do want this 16-19 string pattern, but I certainley don't wan't anything which feels heavier than my Prestige, I actually prefer something just a little lighter.

Otherwise I should maybe go for the Yonex RDX 500 or the new Volkl V-engine tour 10 MP, but I can't get these two racquet for such a good price as the C-10 Pro

I picked up three C10 pro's off e-bay for $105 have hit both v-engines..the C10 to me is incredible..perfect balance.. heavy ball I just beat a friend 3 and 2 that normally beats me!! You have to be strong this is a heavy axe but the flex and feel is unmatched w/ any other racket I have played with..I think it plays a little heavier than the prestige... feels about the same as the v-10 mid my .02

Your concern about the cost differential between the C10 and the other racquets brings to mind that you've posted nearly 300 comments on this site alone this year. Two minutes devoted to each post would be 10 hours time, which at only minimum wage would yield you another $60 bucks or so. If you're of age, work more, post less, and you'll have the racquet you want.

if it was only that easy..I am at work now..El Diablo how arm friendly is the BB Ace and how is the tension retention..back to work...

For me, C-10 played quite a bit heavier than Prestige or PT280.

I like the c-10. I borrowed two of them from my friend. Warning, These racquet are very flexible. My friend got tennis elbow using them. I strung them up with poly. I pulled a shoulder muscle using them. I used the prestige and wilson 6.1. Both of these racquet was stiffer, and I never got injured using them. The c-10 is good for topspin and kick serves. When you hit a kick at 6 to 12. The serve kicks like crazy. These racquet swings threw the air very fast. But I dont know why I got injured using these racquets. I returned them back to my friend.

Definitely lighter; it's not just static weight, but the combo of balance (C10 more HL) and lower swingweight. It's a "classic" racquet, you can't go wrong.
