What racquets or racquet lines shouldn't exist or should have never existed in the first place

My picks:
1. MGX
2. The new Extreme line
3. Pure Aero VS
4. Burn line

I don't even know where to start with Yonex. Ezone, Ezone DR, Vcore, Vcore SV, Vcore Dual G.

O Ports should be outright banned, gives us stringers one heck of a hassle.

Nothing that can't be dealt with using the right approach and tools.
I too think it is an excellent tech

In reality, all that a manufacturer really needs nowadays are 2 molds: MP and OS; and 2 layups: soft and stiff.
Those 4 variants can be drilled in an open or closed string pattern, making for about 8 racquet types.
Each type can be weight adjusted to desired spec: Jr/Granny, Tweener, Players.

On the oports i agree but dont find them hard to string. They just suck to play with! And any grommet that is not round is the same way. Sent a juice back and ditched the lightning because of those stupid grommets.

Add spin racquets to the list.

Head PT57A, not because they aren't great racquets, but plenty of time and money was lost over the 'hunt' for them all elusive 'holy grails' if you will

I agree with all the stupid spin racquets with ridiculous patterns like 16x15 etc that are popular with manufacturers.

Might be allright in a 90ish size head but in anything bigger, well nobody needs THAT much spin.

And dont get me started on the Big Bubba. That poor excuse for a racquet is a travesty of natural justice!

The Extreme line used to be the Aero Pro Drive equivalent, now it's just a green version of the Instinct. It should be done away with tbhq

Agree on the extreme open spacing idea. Can't say I agree on the bubba thing though. Would have agreed until I tried and then got the 117. I play with everything from an old Borg 65-70 si, 90, 97, 98,100, 103, 107 and the 117. Most forgiving by far is the 117 especially serving. If my day is going south (usually due to serve) with my other racquets the bubba comes out and often saves the day.

Gonna have to toss out the Head Crossbow series. Must have been a flop because within 2 years they were all gone and Head acted like they never existed.

Head MXG
Dunlop force and I dapat
Wilson Rollers
Volkl Power Arm 1
Head Ti Pro Tour
I agree these racquets are solid picks because they are not even funny, contrary a racquet like Prince mono for example. Head MXG is a solid contender for GOAT. They still have a few one at my tennis shop btw.
But what about the Head Ti Pro Tour?
Among recent releases, the Prince Twistpower looks pretty silly although some folks seem to like it.

Yonex eone tour. It's too illogical to make a tour version of a racket and completely change the head balance. It's strange, but hopefully they fix it with this year's version.
