Lead Placement: 8g at 12 o'clock
Did he really put 8g at 12 o'clock, that's a lot....
364 grams sounds about right. But the math doesn't seem to add up. Help me with this--
racket 339 grams
string 17 grams
over grip 5 grams
total 361 grams without lead.
rackets vary, but strings and overgrip don't.
I think another post said 4 grams in handle from new leather grip and about 4 to 5 grams in head at noon.
What does an actual overgrip weigh? Is 17g for strings too much?
These are the stats that We have (somewhat) agreed on:
Headsize: 90 square inches
Weight: 12.8 ounces (364 grams) strung
Balance Point: 6 pts Headlight
Length: 27 inches
String Pattern: 16X19
Overgrip: Wilson Pro Overgrip
Grip: P1 Leather
Grip Size: 4 3/8
Swing weight: 355 (our best estimate)
Lead Placement: 8g at 12 o\'clock (varies depending on the racket\'s original specs)
String Setup: Wilson Natural Gut (16) in the mains and Luxilon Big Banger ALU rough (17) in the crosses
Tension (on Average): 49.6 Lbs.Sounds exactly right. I have this weighted setup currently and it is awesome. Everything is better except maneuverability. You can really hit through the court with suprising control with the high swingweight. You don\'t have to swing hard at all to get good spin and pace.
I tried customizing my head radical microgel with fed's specs... Felt heavy. I just reverted back to 9 grams at 1" and 12 grams at 12. 12 may be a lot, but it's the best I've set it up it's roughly 5-6 points headlight and 366 SW. But the problem is I have a pretty low static mass.. Considering the microgel is only 11oz strung

You forgot the stringsavers and powerpads. Heres a picture of the lead. This is presumably the 1/2 gram / inch, so it is as Nate Ferguson says only a few grams. The length differs for matching purposes:Regular racquet
weight 347 grams
balance 31.95mm
SWeight 316 kgcm2
Supose Federer's Racquet
String 16 grams
overgrip 5 grams
Leather grip add 6 grams
on average 6 grams lead tape on top (some less some more as the pictures)
Maybe Roger's racquet specifications:
weight 364 grams
balance 31.95mm
SwingWeight 336 kgcm2
Or one could say that this + stringsavers + powerpads plus one or two grams at 12 fits quite well.364 grams sounds about right. But the math doesn't seem to add up. Help me with this--

Maestro? Dampener? Noooo! Never.I don't see a vibration dampener on the racquet in pics. Doesn't he use one? That would be another .5 grams or 1 gram. ?
He's got a custom molded handle made by p1. Only they know the exact specs of his handles.Anyone has idea how much weight Fed puts in the handle?
I'm suspecting some 20-30g added to the buttcap (perhaps custom buttcap?). Plus, his frame is not off the shelf but rather the lite version layup made especially for him.
Nope. Wrong. His actual customisation for his current sticks are not 100% known yet, but his racquet is not some "lite version layup".Plus, his frame is not off the shelf but rather the lite version layup made especially for him.
