I know it isn't the same without Federer and Djokovic, but the game must go on.

Right?

Let's all hope that it isn't a dud no matter who makes it.

I'd like to see Med or Dimi against Nadal, but that could be competitive or a blow out. I think maybe Berretini v Dimi could be an exciting watch.

Medvedev is the real wild card here. Because I have no idea what his fitness is like, so idk whether to pick him over Grigor or not.

Which do you value more highly between play style and theater?

I want to see NAdal play Dimitrov but Grigor will have to play like young Federer. then we will have a good 5 set match that is worth our time. Otherwise I want US open and USTA to re-imberse me for time wasted

Nadal vs. Medvedev, and hope both are physically good to go. I expect Medvedev to have learned quite a bit from their recent meet-up so that the match this time will be quite competitive!

You just went full Pantera.

Not at all. Nadal is NOT playing well. So could be beaten by the Mad Lad Medvedev.
Dimi and Berrettini have little to no chance.
Mad lad is real deal - he could beat anyone. He might be world #1 soon, and I'd be VERY surprised if he does NOT win at least 1 slam next year. Maybe even more.

Dimitrov to redeem LostGen with a 5-set epic win over Nadal and reignite his career Agassi/Djokovic-style.
Alternatively Medvedev crushing his way to the crown and finally ushering in a new era of tennis.

Not until 3 dinosaurs are still top3 and heavy favourite by default for every slam for 13 years in a row.

All combos will make a good final except The Nadal grinding someone down over several hours. I will go out to one of the bars on the South Plaza after 15 minutes of watching that scenario unfold.

Probably one more year I'd say. I think it depends on how Med would win UO. The manner in which it's done.

I wanna see Medhead take DieGOAT's strategy to it's ultimate extreme. Spot the Nadal the first 5 games in each set, come back to 5-5. Give him the first couple of sets and then go SuperSimon and unload point after point after f***ng point of 30+ shot drills at 5-5 in the 3rd, 4th and 5th, finishing each with a squash shot winner. /theNadal

That would be awesome for sure. I feel like he needs to step in on the return more than he did in their previous match. I voted Dimitrov because of that result and the fact he's played him tough a couple or three times. A sentimental pick too in a way. Either one would be cool though.

You're the stereotypical embodiment of the worst features TTW has to offer.

I'd like to see Nadal vs Dimitrov because Dimi is baby Fed. Peak Dimi is maybe only 80% Federer. Nadal can definitely beat Federer when he's not at his best which is like Dimitrov at his best.
