When will wilson make a new line of rackets

FX is their newest technology which was released at the beginning of this year. It is still part of their K Factor line which has been around for about 3 years. They will probably announce something new if they find something better or when K Factor is not the dominant technology in the market.
For the same reason they announce a new line on a very predictable schedule every few years. To sell more racquets. Announcing new frames has nothing to do with how good the old ones are, it's a pre-set cycle.
i've heard it here on the forum somewhere and also just heard it again at my local pro shop that wilson will release a new racquet for Federer probably around aussie open time, or probably in march or so as they usually wait a couple months to make it available to the regulars.

They need to make a k90 with a 95 headsize!
They already do, but because of the headsize difference they play totally different.
Early 2010 is correct per the SE Sales manager when he came in our shop. The cobra's etc that just came out won't be replaced though. Basically, the way he put it is the shelf life of a wilson frame is 3 years, she the K6.1 and whatever else came out in 2007 at the dawn of the kfactors will be replaced first, then trickle down the line

I hope they make a K-Tour Pro FX. 95-98 sq in. 11.3 oz. 27.25inches. 6pts headlight. 21mm beam. 320-330 swing weight.
That's an interesting viewpoint, but unfortunately, it's not how they decide when to update their lines. Expect a new Wilson racquet series some time next year, since that's when their marketing cycle comes around again.

me friend has a big tennis shop in the netherlands.
the main sponsor of the shop is wilson.
so he knows almost everything from it because every 2 month's there is an conversation for the most important shops for wilson.
and the last conversation they said that they will release a whole new line in january 2010..
the first racket's of the line will be the same as the rackets who came out the first with the [K]-Factor line in 2007...
so also Federer is gonne play with a new racket...
So go look forward for ausopen 2010 because that is his first big tournament with his new racket!!
