Yes, I converted 352/355 grams from his post into oz for my clarity as I don't think in grams and I was surprised it was so high because that would be almost 13 oz strung, hence the question mark to see if anyone felt the same, especially for a guy recovering from wrist injuries who has already lowered his tension.
It is a bit subtle for some people to grasp, I understand that. Sorry about that. I will be more explicit next time so everyone can follow.

That weight is reached adding lead tape, am I ok?
and strings (12/15 grs) + damp (4/5 grs), is could be strung around more or less 370??

Usually in English when one questions the weight, one would post:
12.5 ounces isn't that a bit heavy considering a wrist injury?
And in English again when one doesn't understand whether the racquet is weighed strung or unstrung;

I've seen both delPotro and Baghdatis cross themselves when they lose as well as when they win. There are a few others who do, too.
the reason it seems otherwise is that the directors always focus on the winner when the match is over!

He was recently asked on a website for La Nacion newspaper why did he came back to his old racket. His response was he did it just because he had a better feeling with it.

Wrist issue more string/tension than racquet weight
63# in a 18x20 95in. head w/100% Lux ALU: that 20-year-old wrist was a walking time bomb just waiting to explode! Anybody try to switch him to a gut/ALU hybrid, at least while his wrist fully heals? BTW, one post contained two words I've rarely heard combined: Wilson and flexible. All they make are stiff sticks.

I play in that same tension range with a 89.5in. head. No arm or wrist injuries here.
Wilson occasionally produces a stick that isn't horrifically stiff but it does happen occasionally.

Ryushen I'm glad your arm is well but the amount of balls DelPo had to hit to reach laser-speed took its toll on the young man's wrist. He ignored the printed 10%-less tension disclaimer on Lux packaging at his own peril and paid for it with a one-year forced vacation while at the top of his game. If he's at 56# now, lesson learned (the hard way). Your rationale that you're in the same range doesn't work unless: you play as much as he does, hit as hard as he does, restring daily like he does, play ALU instead of BCode(very soft poly much easier on arm) and play PS6.1 like he apparently does. Your 60# roughly equals his old 63# choice but ALU @ 63# is far harder than BCode @60# in your Prestige. At a Futures event last year, I strung for only 1 player in the 60#+ range using ALU. The winner, runner-up and one semi loser all played mid-to-high 50's. Still, the trainer's highest activity was treating from the shoulder to the wrist. As to Wilson stiffness reference, I said they rarely produce a flex stick. Rarely vs. Occasionally? Aren't you splitting hairs?

i posted this on the other thread about federer switching to a racquet with a bigger head on the general pro discussion forum...My local pro shop's owner heard from the reps that wilson was making a special us open racquet, maybe the racquet that Federer and Sampras want (a bigger headsize) and the one that Del Po might switch to, be the same as this us open edition

I think Wilson didn't think DelPo would come back strong, so they didn't give him a contract (which would have forced him to use a BLX PJ). Therefore, the K Factor is his actual racket of choice. They wouldn't do a PJ and make it a K6.1 obviously...

I discussed Delpo with a Wilson rep who says he's under contract with normal incentives, but it pays him less than it would if he went with a current model PJ.
They made a "set" of BLX PJ sticks for him to use and he rejected them. He's very partial to the K Factor PJ because he likes it.

It could just be that he's a little supersticious since he's won the uso with that racquet. I mean once he switched to the blx pjs, he's had problems. It might be a coincidence to us, but to him it might actually be a supersticion

He probably does get a little bit of a trampoline effect...but that is a pretty stiff string and restrings after each time he hits on the stick.
No matter how springy the setup as long as he keeps the ball in and cranks that forehand as hard as he does, I would say that it is working out pretty good for Delpo!
Has anyone heard more about this player's stick that Wilson is supposed to release for him to use as I'm sure they won't be supporting the K Factor PJ forever.

I don't blame him: imo the k6.1 PJ is one of the best ever. Personally, I don't think the BLX6.1 even comes close.

Just noticed on Tennis Warehouse Europe the BLX Pro Tour's went on closeout. That frame hardly lasted a year. I imagine it won't be long before they are closed out here in U.S also. It would seem a new paintjob for Del Potro and retail stick to match wouldn't be too far away. Or maybe they are just scrapping the Pro Tour since the BLX or K didn't sell very well.
