LMAO at Bull's fans overrating Medvedev's loss at AO! First of all he already had grand slam title at that point, second of all he is much more well rounded and consistent player than Tsitsipas and thus he knows he will have gazillion more chances, unlike certain greek boy, that can only play great on clay once in 10 years...LOL I don't recall him being anywhere nearly as salty as certain greek boy was in that FO choke...

As much as I hate to say it, it's gotta be Medvedev. Three major final losses. Brutal. The most recent one at AO22 probably the most brutal loss on the entire list of three players.

Has to be Medvedev. Those two Australian Open finals, the one where he had 20 matches in a row or whatever it was, the second where he was up 2 sets? Throw the US Open final loss in there from 2019 even if it isn't quite the same level of thing. There was the close Bercy loss to Novak last year, that ridiculous WTF loss to Nadal in 2019, and hell the Acapulco one with Nadal this year where he could have gotten a small sliver of revenge.

I know the others have had their fair share too, but I don't think AS often on AS big a stage, and (most importantly) certainly not with the same level of expectation upon them.

Medvedev and Tsitsipas. Neither recovered from ‘22 AO and ‘21 RG.

Tsitsipas has still maintained a high level of consistency and is the tour leader in wins for 2022, but his lack of titles has come as a direct consequence of that final. It still plays on his mind.

Medvedev is the exact same situation except his entire level has fallen off, not just a mental pigeon, he’s losing to everyone. Will be interesting to see if he can recover next season, I still believe he’s good enough to win more slams and reclaim no. 1 in the world.
