Which of these two

I am currently using a Klipspringer single fixed clamp supported with Floating Clamps that I have used for the past 15 years.

I now want to update. I just string for myself and a few friends at the club with a few referrals - I have never bothered to take any statistics as to customer volume as I am not interested to go commercial my priority being to experiment with different strings and string for myself.

I have the option of ugrading to a double fixed clamp "Klip Gravity" Drop Weight or a "Klip Sidewinder" mechaical spring loaded gear tensioning with a 6 point mounting system (10 point supports) 360 degree dual action daimond coated swivel clamps with quick locking - aluminium clamp bases - full 360 degree turntable rotation.

At first glance I would prefer to go with the more expensive Spring Loaded machine. If I went this way is calibration a problem and if so what is involved.

Any input appreciated.....Thanks/Norm

The Klip Gravity looks very very similar to the Gamma X-6 FC, and if so, it is a very fine machine. I would go with it for a few reasons. Constant pull, no calibration, and lower price. However you will get better speeds and probably more consistency with the Sidewinder, so I don't think you can go wrong with either.
