which racquet is the best all-around racquet of the new pure drive line?!:)

Hm... all around would be something in the middle. Flip a coin between the Roddick or the PD plus. You'll have your answer then.

all the racquets in the PD line are pretty awesome. you can't go wrong with either of them, just depends on your static weight and length preference. i would vote the PDR.

None of them, go with Yonex Ezone Xi or Vcore 100S

The Wilson BLX Pro Open

Without wishing to be pedantic that wasn't the question was it?

Similar to "what shade of blue do you like best?" Green!

Seriously if you have nothing to contribute save for de-railing a thread then don't bother.

My view is that the PD is the most versatile for all game styles. The other versions have their merits but the regular PD is the best all rounder.

Agreed.

The PD is the most maneuverable and is the most whippy which is good if you take big cuts at the ball.

I have 3 PD's and am glad that I made the switch.

Ha, I just switched to this and I didn't think I would ever go back to this canon ball launcher. But I did.

Give the "Lite" a chance as well; I demoed this together with the regular PD and was pleasantly surprised. For those who like their rackets in a lighter package and who play lots of doubles, the PD Lite is certainly worth considering.

The PDRGT+ is fantastic. I "demo'd" one last weekend and boy was it awesome. Played a lot sweeter then last years model, and it lost that ultra brassy feel which I think is a good thing.

I personally use a 2012 Pure Drive Roddick +, and I love it! But, best is very subjective. I like the feel much better than the previous model. It feels closest to the original in my opinion.

Tried both the new PDR (std) and PD (std), when searching for a new set of rackets, and I personally liked the PDR because of it's higher weight, and swing weight. It may just be mental, but it felt like I could drive through the ball , and it felt more solid than the PD. YMMV

+1

I felt exactly the same way. I demoed the PD and PDR+ and the PDR+ just felt a TON more solid and actually felt like it had a lot better control and stability, especially on volleys.

Not trying to de-rail but neither is the best all court racquet. They are both baseliner sticks! It's like asking the question, what is the best car for everyday driving, the Infiniti G37 of G37S?? Just trying to help people expand their polarized views. Unless you are being paid to use a particular racquet brand, why not try others???
