Interesting article. I especially liked the logic of (showing the facilicy of mere percentage showing who is better at breaking service):

Another frequent stat that I'd like to change is the frequent quoting of head to head. It should ALWAYS be with surface details. Because without surface details it could be completely skewed in favour of the player who favours the surface that they have happened to have played the most on. To illustrate this - imagine if the majority of matches Borg and McEnroe had played were on clay - their head to head would be massively in favour of Borg - but the overall stat (without surface information) would tell you very little about their relative playing abilities.
