Who benefits best from the Babolat tour versions?

I’ve been looking at comparisons between the Babolat standard 16x19 frames and their tour counterparts, particularly the Pure Strike.

The standard frame is already known as a racket well suited to control, so does the significantly heavier (340g strung) version produce more control?

Who does this benefit best? Like which people would benefit from each version of the Pure Strike?

If you have any insights please let me know!
Thanks

one thing that comes to mind is stability. I use a pure drive tour and it feels ok at net, I used some lead to make it more stable but Babolat isn’t exactly popular for people who serve and volley or even go to the net.

The PST felt pretty heavy to me. Certainly heavier swinging than a Prestige MP or Prince 97p 93p. The regular 16x19 felt heavier than it’s weight.

The Tour racquets are for players who are physically able to handle a little more weight in a racquet.

I think the Tour versions are for the players who play against the heaviest advanced hitters. It has the necessary mass to deal with the hard incoming shots and be able to not flutter and return back with bigger shots. I do like to swing the lighter rackets every now and then, but when it comes to playing a serious opponent, I look for the heavier player’s frames.

I think a bunch of top flying pro players will disagree with you.

For the 3rd gen Pure Strikes, the swing weight of the regular 18x20 is not much different than the Tour, and the 16x19 is pretty close too.

it's not all about SW.
I know enough women that keep telling 300gr frame is heavy, and prefer to swing a light version, 265g or whatever it is.
also men, you would expect that a 15g or 20g doesn't play a big difference, but if you have to swing the frame for 2 or 3 hours, on a regular basis, trying to hit powerful serves, for some, even the 15g / 20g does make a difference.
there is a reason why modern frames oscillate around 300g stock weight.

If that’s the case then why are 320g frames like the tour even sold for mass audiences?
I’m a fairly advanced player at 6ft with a medium build. If this frame isn’t suitable for me then what’s the point in even making it for non-pros?

cause some market segment wants heavier frames.
if this market segment is big enough, it would be a pitty to ignore them.
just business.

The balance and how the tour swings is more natural to me than regular version. I have a 1 handed backhand and like to volley. I need rackets that are more headlight and are “traditionally” Balanced.
