I feel Medvedev is the best problem solver amongst the Next Gen. The way he flipped a switch from sets 1 & 2 to the way he played the remaining match was just awesome. That level of application, range and Tennis IQ is just.. special. But in terms of pure style I guess I would go for Shapovalov and Tsitsipas, though I love it when Med goes all out aggressive.

Tsitsipas, Auger-Alliasime and Sinner for me, but I like watching all of them.

Berrettini has a very poor return game, but from a physical standpoint we haven't seen anyone with his level of core strength + live arm + movement before. He's like a scaled up Wawrinka at 6'5" and you can tell that a lot of opponent's are struggling to deal with him.

Agree about Matteo’s need for ROS improvement and I initially thought this would void faster surface success but Stuttgart title, Halle SF, Wimby 4R and USO SF results are not shabby at all. Forza Matteotini!

Dimi is 4 years too old, yes. 1995 is the cut-off year, for me at least. Dimitrov is 1991.

I included Opelka as a sort of gag in a sense, but I guess maybe someone likes that sort of "style". Certainly giants play an "interesting" kind of tennis.

Yes, but trust me on this one...he will be rising. 1R vs Stanimal at USO after qualifying was a tough draw and he took a set before nearly forcing a fifth set (3-6 but the last two games were tossups going Stan’s way).

I love the way Kyrgios plays when he's not being a mardy arse.

I wish FAA didn't have that iffy ball toss and the extended period of thinking about it before he messes it up, otherwise I really like his game.

Medvedev's good fun too, mostly because he just gets on with it, has a slightly awkward style to his strokes, is clearly a smart guy and not afraid to have the crowd not like him.

Khachanov's forehand take-back looks like it should result in shoveling the ball into the bottom of the net.

Zverev's serve is one of the ugliest of the last 30 years, he has the body of a human crane fly, his forehand's a bit loopy and there's some quirk about the backhand take-back that bothers me.

I already admire and loathe Opelka in equal measure, as I do Isner, though his ball toss is a bit wilder than Isner's atm.

Shapovalov I want to like but just pisses me off because he continues to appear a bit dim on court.

I should give a shout out to Rublev who I have a soft spot for, in spite of the obnoxious grunt, since he has almost exactly the same figure and build as I have!

Tiafoe's broken wrist FH helps him handle very heavy FHs coming to him cc.
