Someone forgot to tell Jack Sock thatPeople play to their strengths and avoid their weaknesses. That’s a bit extreme though. He’s never going excel as a tennis player if he continues doing this. He should get a coach (or even video tutorials and practice on his own) and work on developing that BH.
*on clay(as Fedal have taught us over and over).
Imagine what Gonzalez could've been with a better backhand, though. He would've been something like Wawrinka or even Federer.*on clay
*against a lefty with an arguably just as good of a forehand
Let's not forget Fernando Gonzalez reached #5 in the world with this gameplan, which is better than a lot of people who ever played tennis.

Players are going to have strengths and weaknesses... Maybe if he worked on his BH, his FH wouldn't be quite as gooddo you remember that killing FH?
now imagine if he had some support from his BH side, and could have the luxury between choosing an average BH or runaround and launch that FH
