I know pro players and most players stick with the same overgrip on all their racquets but I figured it's better to have options. Conditions change depending on the venue, temperature differs, humidity differs this will all influence how much my hands are sweating and different grips are needed for different levels of hand sweat.
So now in the wintertime I usually start out with a really tacky grip at the moment Head xtreme soft. This is actually the grip with the feel I prefer so I stick with this as long as it works. However after some time I sweat more so I usually change to Wilson pro or Yonex supergrap they blend the tackiness with some dry feel and works when hands are a bit sweaty. Usually I play out the rest of the session with this grip but in extreme cases and as a last backup I always carry a racquet with a tourna grip original.
This works for me anybody else with a similar setup?
