i 'm rewatching wawrinka vs zverev 2020 AO QF and
why his level was so dropped in second set to fouth set
this is was his best chance to win forth major
positive h2h on thiem and already won melborne court at novak djokovic
so my main qustion is will we ever see stan wawrinka win his fourth major ?

i think stan should go to same section of novak djokovic ' s draw at RG
he is only men can take out novak djokovic AT RG , beside thiem and nadal

2020 RG and 2020 USO is i think his only last two shot

His chances are almost nil but never discount a 3 time grand slam winner but to be honest there are more problems to face than only the big 3 as likes of thiem, medvedev, zverev he would also need to get through which I think is very tough at his age. Although I would say his best chance will be at a hardcourt slam especially Us open where it's quite open but he has to be extremely lucky with the draws and hope he gets a good ranking till then.

Chances are low at this point. He should have beaten Federer in the French quarterfinals last year, but likely would have been blasted by Nadal. I thought he was rounding into form at the Australian Open this year to make a title run, especially after beating Medvedev from down 2 sets to 1, but then inexplicably played a bad match against a mental pigeon in Zverev. That particular loss showed me that Stanimal likely won't appear again, except in inconsistent patches. I'd be shocked if he still managed to bag another major. He hasn't even been winning small titles for a long time.

His chances are still Top 8 at the French & USO. So it's really about the draw. No longer the endurance to take 2-3 long matches in a row.

He seems to have his shots back just the consistency is still off but he's never been that consistent hence his career. I think he's definetly got a puncher's chance at the French probably Top 5 and Top 5-8 at USO for sure. Barring this virus shutting things down.

After Novak completes the Channel Slam this summer Stan will save tennis by stopping him Vinci style, and then promptly retire Pennetta style.

That Zverev match was the most painful match I’ve ever watched. My favorite player starting off very well against my least favorite, only to be beat by a combination of servebotting and pushing.

Nah, he's done winning slams.

Ever since the injury and surgery he's not been quite the player he was. The Big 3 are able to come back from injury and reach their previous level - especially Rafa who does it very quickly - but evidently Stan can't.

No chance. Or 1% chance.
