Well,
I'm a big fan of the Wilsons, tho the Rush 2.5 is the best for me (and I hope they keep it in the lineup).
I also have one pair each of the Rush 3.0 and the KAOS 3.0, but the lateral support and general fit of the 2.5 is way more suited for my foot and for my game.
I will definitely check these out when I get a chance.
I recommend to anybody who hasn't tried one of the Wilsons — do so when you can. They are excellent kicks.

I believe the step in comfort is better than the Res 8 or SoleCourt. Felt more plush and spongy.

When do you think we will see them in the US? There is zero selection of Wilsons at the moment. Seems like it has been like that for weeks or longer. Chinese tariffs? I'll take anything in size 10.5. Don't care if it is 3.0 or 2.5 even. Of course, a light blue to match my ultra tours would be 1st on the list.

If it's a ".5" model rather than a new number, I wonder if it's essentially the exact same shoe/footprint and only a lighter upper, more mesh or something. Just eyeballing it, looks like that may be the case.

Just so everyone is aware, Wilson like many other manufacturers, are having supply chain issues that center around availability of ***shipping containers***. I have two durability warranty vouchers from Wilson that I am waiting to redeem but everything is out of stock. The last email I got from a Wilson support representative says they will hopefully have shoes back in stock in about two weeks.

They’re still being sold at TW Europe and other retailers, FYI. Perhaps you can order from overseas if you’re in the US.
The 3.5 appears to be the exact shoe as the 3 but with a different fabric or something, since it looks basically the same and the TW fit description is the same as the 3. Too narrow in the toe area for me.

I have two durability warranty vouchers from Wilson and a couple of weeks ago, saw that they had just received a shipment of the 2021 Rush Pro 2.5. I got one just to make sure it would fit my feet and found it to be a great fit. So I went back online to use my other voucher and they're sold out.

thats the issue i have with almost every tennis shoe. running shoes have the foot shape figured out, tenny shoes ... not so much

No idea but I got a pair of the "2021 issue" and they are fine shoes - though pretty fast wearing. I don't expect this pair to last any more than 10 weeks or so, whereas other shoes will last 12-16 weeks.

How many hours is that? My Asics GR8 shoes last me only about 4-5 weeks before they get too soft and cause knee/foot soreness. I play about 15 hours per week on outdoor hard courts and so, the shoes have to be replaced every 60-75 hours. In the past, I used to wear heavier Barricade 7s (aka Novak) and they lasted 6-7 weeks. I’ve never had any shoes from Nike/Adidas/Asics last me more than 100 hours before they came too soft or the sole wore out so that I could send it back for warranty replacement.

On our smooth (and pretty fast) hardcourts, that would be somewhere in the 70-80 hour range. On the rough hardcourts in Southern Cal, I'd imagine it would be half that at best. The guys who spend winter in the Palm Desert area tell me their shoes wear out in about a third of the time - one guy says he wears out shoes up here about once a year and down there he's gone through two pairs in the past five months.
I'm pretty heavy at 200 pounds so I just grind away at the soles. Typically, they wear out on the outside of the outsole near the balls of my feet first, followed closely by the outside where my heel lands, and last where my big toe drags.
I will almost never use the provided insole. The only ones that I thought were decent are the ones from Prince, which are thick, rubbery, cushioning, and durable, though they are heavy. Those "Ortholite" insoles are just terrible for someone of my weight. But with a thick and heavy insole, I don't notice much when the midsole loses cushioning, and I'm sure at my weight it does degrade pretty quickly. Sometimes if I notice my feet getting a bit tired as a shoe ages, I'll stick an Ortholite insole back in as extra cushioning. That offsets the stretching of the shoe and kind of returns the fit of the uppers to when the shoe was newer.

Wilson just got some more shoes in. I was able to redeem my second warranty replacement voucher last night.
I was able to order the Rush Pro 3.5s from Wilson, and have played in them twice now.
Before I make a comparison, here's a little background information. I am a 4.5 primarily serve and volley doubles player. My feet are fairly sensitive, and I've always had a hard time finding good shoes that don't hurt my feet after playing. I currently play in the Nike Vapor Cage 4. These have the best combination of comfort and support that I've found so far, and my feet don't hurt after I play in them. In the past couple of years, I've tried the K Swiss Ultrashot 2 (not enough cushioning), the new Prince T22 (not at all like the old version), the New Balance Lav (not enough support), the Asics Gel Resolution 8 (too narrow and lost sole support quickly), and the Nike Vapor Cage 4 (these are my go-to now).
I played in some Rush 2.5s a few years ago, and I've worn, but not played in the Rush 3.0s. I liked the 2.5s for playing for the most part, but I didn't use them very long. I owned them in the summertime here in Oklahoma, and their lack of ventilation was so bad, my insoles constantly slipped around while playing due to sweat. I don't think it was a fit issue.
I've tried the 3.0s on two different times, and both times, they were the most comfortable shoe I've ever had on my feet. It's like my feet were surrounded in pillows. I never got to play in them, so I don't know how they would've done. But their comfort out of the box was top notch.
Now for the 3.5s.....The uppers are not as cushioned and "fluffy" as the 3.0s, and feel just a little stiffer. I'm sure this is to give the shoe more general lateral support. The 3.5s wrap around my ankle very well, and feel very supportive around the ankle without being intrusive. The sole cushioning is very good, but maybe just a fraction less than the 3.0s....but still very good. Compared to the 2.5s, so far they seem significantly more breathable (but it's not 95 degrees with high humidity). I played on a fairly hot day this week, sweated a ton, and had no issues with hot feet or slippage inside. Also, I had a little bit of an issue with the 2.5s and toe-jamming, as others had noted. I have not had that issue at all with the 3.5s, so far.
I'm not sure yet what verdict I'd give these for being playable over the long haul for me. They are very comfortable right out of the box. They lock my ankle in well. But I also feel like they might not be quite supportive enough for me laterally. I could feel a little more give in the sides of the shoe than I'm used to when running side to side. Plus, my feet have been just a little sore after playing (but not bad). I'm going to give them another try or two and see how it goes. If you don't have sensitive feet, and want a comfortable, generally lightweight shoe, then I'd say give these a try.

same here. i didnt like em at first but they took a little break in. now theyre fitting like a ... well ... a rather heavy glove.
the rush 3.0s are rubbing my little toes. not enough width in the toebox. cant go up any on size or theyll be clown shoes.
Update: I've had the shoes for a few weeks now and they're killing my toes whenever I stop after a full sprint.
Would not recommend for this reason alone, in particular if you're playing on a surface you can't slide on.
I played tennis 4 times this week in these shoes and I can see bruising underneath my big toe's nail.

I don't know about the previous shoes but I think the issue is the extremely hard toeguard thing it has at the front of the shoe. It's a very stiff material. I didn't have this on my last pair. My big toes are always banging into them and coming out worse for wear.
My other toes are okay though.

Can confirm. Bought some 2.5s on closeout in November and just got a pair of 3.5s dropped in the mail for warranty b/c the toe-box wore completely through on them.
This is the color I have on the way. Even the wife approved of them! (She generally hates my shoe choices)see that t-dub has the 3.5 now ... and its BLUE

For those that have played the Wilson shoes how are they overall? I have a narrow foot and Adidas/Nike have been fitting well over the last few years. I remember wearing the Old Wilson Pro Staff shoes - they were heavy but built like tanks back then. How are is the current lineup? I do have ankle roll issues so the amplifeel look interesting, but heavy. Currently playing in Nike Zoom Zero's and like the fast/cushioned feel. Thanks
Amplifeel 2s are not at all heavy. Opposite actually. Very fast feeling but sometimes feel like a chore to put on. Comfort is very good but it's not very cushioned. Definitely accommodates wider sizes. Some people have issue with pinky rub and I did at first but if you have a narrow foot you should be okay. Good for clay as well.
I've been blown away by Wilson recently. Underrated shoes and apparel.
I did get some GP turbos since I heard the comfort is much better. The amplifeel 2s are more comfortable for me (average foot), but harder on the legs/knees.

3.5 are soft,wide toe box and really comfortable.Stability is very good and the quality is great.The only thing I cannot review is durability.I don't slide and I only play on clay.

VC4 are the best tennis shoes I've ever worn and it isn't particularly close.
For those having toe jamming issues with the Wilsons: are you wearing two pairs of socks? I played a match recently in my Zoom Cage 2 and forgot to double sock...huge mistake, my toes were jammed on every single hard stop.
