Santoro is a terrible terrible draw for Ivo. Besides the fact that Ivo seems to always lose to short french speaking players Santoro's nasty slice strokes will be rugged for Ivo to deal with. On top of that Santoro is very clever and won't ever beat himself on serve so it will be very hard for Ivo to ever break him on grass.

In his 1st match on grass after the FO, Fed wins in 92 minutes, has 13 UE and 33 winners. He extends the grass winning streak to 49. Anyone else thinks that it was a good idea for him not to play a warm up event and to get two weeks of break?

In 1996, the year Sampras didn't play a warm up event and then lost in Wimbledon quarters, in his 1st round match he was taken to 4 sets and had 8 double faults. Fed had 0 double faults today.

yes that's a good grass win for PHM...
before the tournament, he said he was liking grass despite not having performed extremely well on the surface so far !

The way I see it, Fed has had some of his "magic" knocked away this year. Many players on tour have to believe that he is not invincible, and they have a legit shot at beating him.

Related to Nadal>> he is hands down playing the best tennis in the the ATP right now.

Again, I would love to see Fed win another one and am pulling for him.

Moya saved like 3 or 4 match points at 5-4 so you can say he is still alive but he also choked at 4-2 and 15-40 on Henman´s serve ( wasted 2 breakpoints to lead 5-2 and serve for the match) so both wasted great chances to win and the match is levelled now at 5-5 in the 5th.
