if they go on like this, the court will barely have grass on it
at the time of the semis... beach tennis ?

please spare some of it!

Yeah, I don't remember if it was yesterday or even Monday I was surprised at the wear on the baseline. It's been 2 days and the baseline is already looking more brown than green.

KDK already had 3 SP earlier, Venus got them all back.

Venus was simply having trouble adjusting to this style earlier on, which nobody plays anymore. Whomever wins this set, I don't expect the second set to be very close.

ANybody got news re: weather? any idea when the play at outside courts resumes?

Copied from a BBC guy on Twitter, 10 mins ago;

Still lashing it down @Wimbledon with dark clouds as far as the eye can see. Looks like no play other than Centre for some time #bbctennis

Commentator just stated that DK is left handed, but in Japan it wasn't considered polite to play left handed, hence she plays right handed. What a mad world.

It's a bit like Roddick, but she can actually volley.

I think it's more a case of that being her best chance to close out points when the rally gets going so she'll come in on pretty much anything, Venus has her beaten for power by an absurd amount from the back of the court.

It may be that KDK is getting tired already and trying to shorten the rallies by approaching and risking the pass.

Both players are playing like mental midgets. Date-Krumm missing more passing shots because she's not using anywhere near the whole court, and Williams' looking afraid of her father(I despise that racist) or something because she's not taking advantage. So so many mistakes made by her.

Date' can easily win this match.
