Would the h2h still count if Federer beats Nadal 3 more times in a GS final?

Would the h2h between Federer and Nadal still count towards who is better if Federer beat Nadal 3 more times in a Grand Slam final?

If Federer does beat Nadal 3 more times the h2h between them would still be a lopsiding 23-13 for Nadal. However if Federer was to win these 3 matches in Grand Slam finals before he retires would it end all discussion that Nadal is the better player solely because of his dominating h2h against Federer? Would every Federer hater/Nadal fan admit that Roger is the better player despite the h2h?

why 3 ? Why not 5 ? Dont feed the h2h frenzied crowd.

Nadal is a great player with or without h2h. It is some rabid hurt fans that cannot digest the gap with Fed and use the h2h metric to cover up the inadequacies.

I'll swim backstroke naked across the English Channel if Federer wins 3 more Grand Slam finals, let alone beats Nadal in all 3 finals.

Are you sarcastic?

To be honest Nadal is better than Fed on Clay, on hard court I will give Federer a bit more advantage, on grass Federer is better

It would mean 3 more slams for Federer, far more significant than the slightly better looking h2h...

No amount of wins by Federer can "invalidate" the head to head. Nadal has beaten Federer fair and square 23 out of 33 times and nothing can change that.

However the Fedal head to head is biased, statistically speaking. So it's debatable whether it even counts presently, in informing us which of the two is a better player.

It is never going to happen, so it is a moot point.
Neither Fed nor Nadal will make 3 more slam finals, let alone win them. It is silly notion to exercise at this point.

Hmmmm...This hypothetical is not happening imo. I think the RG 2011 was our last Fedal final.

While I don't think Fed is winning against Nadal anywhere other than Wimbledon, I think Fedal can very much happen in 2015. After all there is only 1 player who is consistently better than both.

Yet another thread on H2H by the Fed fans. Geez! And they post everyday that the H2H doesn't matter. So many threads on a stat that apparently is of no significance.
Insecure much?

Well strictly speaking as of how we stand today it would only mean 3 more slam finals for Fed.

I wouldn't look too much into it, in fact Nadal-Fed's h2h is close to meaningless given the binary performances of healthy vs unhealthy Nadal. We know he beat Fed more often than not whilst he was healthy but also let's not forget how he also managed to avoid him consistently when unhealthy.

Could you please stop singling out the few guys who cannot help but troll around more than necessary and judging all Fed fans according to that? Thanks.

This will NEVER happen even hypothetically. RAfur is getting his back&buttocks stem celled...he will be bigger, faster, stronger than ever before.

It's WHERE Nadal has beat him that makes the h2h so significant. Slam finals and semi finals, that's why the idiots trying desperately to cling on the 1 match lead Davydenko had against Nadal look so stupid. They never met in majors, let alone the sf or final stages.

Fed beating Nadal in 3 more major finals is so unlikely to happen that it's not even worth thinking about it...
