Wrist release topspin forehand

Pretty cool video from jeff salzenstein, about the wrist release topspin forehand.

Anyone else use this type of forehand?

I usually use it when closer to the net and on low bouncing balls, really gets nice topspin and clears the net, and offers alot of control and feel.

I like Jeff's tips. It's a good video for getting that extension while maintaining ball control with an emphasis on staying smooth and relaxed.

Well, different strokes for different folks.

My FH tends to fly so emphasizing the low and around follow through has worked well for me lately since it closes the racquet face a little sooner.

But excellent advice from this video to emphasis feel SUPPLEMENTED by mechanics and working with a player's natural strengths.
