I know..... when she walked out with that old lady at Disney World hat on I knew it was a bad sign. She looked like a grandma with that thing on lolVenus losing to everyone with a racquet in their hand these days. It's crazy. She was top 5 and making finals and slam finals left and right just 2 years ago. It's like wtf? These bland new gen girls just get EVERY BALL BACK and it's annoying.

You haven't seen Peng Shuai play before? She made the semis of the USO in 2014. Also her doubles partner Hsieh(who's pretty popular around here) plays with 2 hands on both sides.

Any idea if Heather played well or if this was a wild match from Wang Qiang? She beat Barty at the US Open and now she's had a dreadful Asian swing especially when you compare it to her performance last autumn when she really announced herself to the tennis world as the next credible Chinese hope. Now it's down to Wang Yafan here in Tianjin.

Peng Shuai has been around since the early/mid 2000s on tour. I think 2011 was her most solid year for singles and 2014 was when she made the US Open semis before cramping hard against Wozniacki and being taken off court. She's also won a bunch of titles including a couple of GSs in doubles so she's a very nifty player and extremely dangerous when on form.

OK WTA fans, how do you check WTA scores?
I go to the WTA website, and the side bar has a bunch of random scores. For example right now three of the four scores displayed are R32 matches at Kremlin Cup, rather than the QF/SF results from this week's tournaments.
So I go to the scores page. I am once again confronted with a ton of matches from Kremlin Cup (with no specification what round it is!). I scroll down to find more recent scores and, again, there is no indication if I'm looking at scores from the QF or SF, even after clicking "Match Stats." Furthermore, the scores are grouped totally randomly between tournaments in the opening rounds and tournaments at the SF/F stage.
On top of all that, I can't find a link to live scores anywhere.
So yeah I realize I can Google a specific player but I find it bizarre that, unlike the ATP website, I can't quickly see if any matches are happening right now or immediately see results from recently completed QF/SF matches.

Appreciate the response, but I think it's crazy to have to download an app just to see scores.
You're right though, this is probably the best bet.
In fact, up until somewhat recently, if you clicked "Scores" on the WTA site on mobile it would direct you to the app store to download a third party app, not even a WTA scores app.
Love WTA but the website has been a dumpster since I started following.

If it's a particular match I'm interested in, I type their name into Google and it has a live scores app at the top of the results which is handy.

Oh yeah, I never check scores on ATP or WTA website. The app is best for a full list of scores and results for that day. Sometimes I use Tennis dot com live scores but they can be funny with time zones sometimes like showing matches listed that will be played tomorrow and not today etc.
