Word is that the original thugs were in India.
Thuggees, a Sanskrit word meaning concealment, were an organized gang of professional assassins – sometimes described as the world's first mafia – who operated from the 13th to the 19th centuries in India. Members of the fanatical religious group, who were infamous for their ritualistic assassinations carried out in the name of the Hindu Goddess Kali, were known as Thugs, a word that passed into common English during the British occupation of India.

I'm more toe rag than thug

Films and television are often the most funny when animated. I met "Beavis and Butt-Head" creator Mike Judge by chance soon before MTV picked-up his show. He was very funny and enjoyed doing voices.

Voices look a litte scary and yet familiar

Dandy Don Meredith was the losing QB for the Dallas Cowboys in the Ice Bowl NFL Championship Game vs the Green Bay Packers on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. After he retired, Dandy Don became one of the voices for Monday Night Football. When a game reached a certain one-sidedness he would begin to sing a country tune, "Turn Out The Lights, The Party's Over."

Many do not realize "I've Never Been To Spain" and "Joy To The World" were both written by Hoyt Axton and his mom co-wrote Elvis' first hit "Heartbreak Hotel." Hoyt also wrote "The Pusher," which was not an homage to certain pros on the current ATP Tour.

Snickers sounds a bit like what Muricans call tennis shoes. I love the word "plimsolls"

A plimsoll shoe, plimsoll, plimsole or pumps(British English) is a type of athletic shoe with a canvas upper and rubber sole developed as beachwear in the 1830s by the Liverpool Rubber Company.

The name derived, according to Nicholette Jones's book The Plimsoll Sensation, because the coloured horizontal band joining the upper to the sole resembled the Plimsoll line on a ship's hull, or because, just like the Plimsoll line on a ship, if water got above the line of the rubber sole, the wearer would get wet.
