Strange question, never thought of it before now but what's "stopping" me from switching my BU to my actual pick despite the fact that the BU match for me has been played and he won?
I'm sure it's not allowed cause I mean it's like having this well for a lack of a better word, a back up in case I worry my pick will fail. But it's interesting cause you can swap them around but not after the BU has played? Worth a shot at asking I guess.

the answer is obviously no, the backup is not your second pick, you only have one pick in each round, not two. As long as the player you picked stepped into the court, the backup entry (not your pick) was/is/will be voided, his win or lose is completely irrelevant. In case you changed your mind, you have to pick other players before their matches started. You cannot pick a player whose match already started or completed regardless of whether he was your backup entry or not.

Good explanation from our Number 1 here.

Waiting out this rain after switching to Staks from the easy winner Kudla earlier today. I'm never changing a pick again...until the next time a grass giant killer plays a #429 WC teenager.
