I liked the Revelation Tour Pro - it's mid-stiff and pretty light and makes for a nice platform frame. There was an XL version too. I haven't tried the others.

I (we)know nothing about you..level, swing, etc...
Your call..
You are the expert of you...not me not others....
You need to do the work and find the best frame for your game.
Do not take it lightly - but make it fun!
Be patient...be open...

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else.
It will spread into your work and into your life.
There are no limits.
There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

Compared to the Muscleweave 200G:
Aerogel 4D 200 is more stable and powerful but also stiffer and less maneuverable. Hotmelt was softer, more muted and addressed the dead upper hoop.
Revelation Classic Pro(Purple) was a unique stick 17mm beam thickness, 16x20, 12+ oz,and very headlight and maneuverable(lead tape at 3 and 9 was needed). Good luck finding a nice one.
Due to age of frame and likelihood of finding a nice condition frame I would go Aerogel 200 or Aerogel 4D 200.

Yesterday found one - thanks for the tips.

I am still playing from time to time with it. Weight with OG and dampener is 12.4 oz. Realy nice racquet.
But it's not in such a good condition like yours.
Cheers

The muscleweave is a great frame and was my frame of choice for a long time.

Another strong vote for the Aerogel 4d 200 tour. Once upon a time, I had a small quantity but I am down to my last two frames now.

Is that the 200 with a 16x18 string pattern?

If it helps I am about to put 2 Dunlop Aerogel 4D 200's (18x20 pattern) up for sale. I know not everyone likes the 18x20 string pattern but harder hitters should surely try it. I love the control and less string movement.

Thanks but they are avaliable where I live.

It seems like there is no agreement as with other brands -Head Wilson-, and that many Dunlops are appreciated , like happens with Yonex

Angell TC95 18x20 plays like a better version of 4D200.

tried the 4d200 years ago. At the time I thought it was too stiff. I was still so in love with the MW. Played with that stick for 14 years on and off. I also tried the Bio 200 and Mfil 200 and was not impressed but Im sure I could have gotten used to it and done fine with some customization.
Nowadays I play with TC95 and am never going back. It just does everything the MW can do but better...for me. Im still surprised by some of the shots I'm pulling out of my hat with it. It has been a game expanding tool that I plan on tweaking and pushing even further. My elbow is happy! I have always used "classic" players sticks a la prostaff, POG, Prestige, C-10 but if the TC95 is the modern racquet I was so skeptical about then set the Delorian for 2005 Doc so I can grab some Vantage 95s and not waste any more time with those others. LOL.

For me, Dunlop was all downhill after the Hot Melt 200g. calm down fanboys it's just my OPINION. Good luck in your search @daniel2015 .

I was quite happy with 4D200 apart from the fact that spin was hard to come by and that's why I switched to Biomimetic 300 Tour that, despite being 18x20, is far more spin friendly. 63RA 18x20 TC95 does everything 4D200 can (precision, predictability, stability, touch, plow) and provides put away power and surprising spin potential as a very welcomed bonus. Truly a classic frame fine-tuned for contemporary tennis needs. I'm very interested in what will TC97 18x20 offer but I have a gut feeling it could very well replace my trusty leaded Bio 300 Tour.

What tc95 specs did you chose?

18x20
63ra
330g /315 mm/ 9pts hl
leather grip

see my post in the Angell thread earlier today for my other tweaks. Ill try to not cr@p on the Dunlops anymore but iDAPT???? Seriously? I WAS a big fan starting with my first real racquets ever the Black Max and Max200g!

@dgoran I read a lot of your posts prior to ordering my TC95. thanks for your contributions to the only thread that matters on TT.;) You too @joohan and all the other TC users and even those that move them along. I am ignoring all the other racquet threads so as not to drown out my ignorance/bliss!

I dabbled with the HM300g for a bit but did not like the light weight and instability. I was unaware of proper customization of tennis racquets at that time so I unfairly gave up on it. Seemed like miles behind my MW200g. FF to 2017... I would like to test a leaded bio300 like yours and of course the TC97 18x20.

What about SW?

What about SW?

wish I knew but I'm not the type of guy to time my racquet swinging on a pencil. Id feel like Gary and Wyatt in Weird Science with a bra on my head!
weird-science-costume-1.jpg

Just kidding...maybe when I get some time I will try to figure it out.

don't know if this helps but my customizations are:

added 5 grams to just above the handle.
leather grip.
opened the handle and moved all weights to slot closest to butt cap. 2 on each side.
switched to 17 gauge string.
dampener.

Oh I thought Paul sends those specs to everyone I guess he figured I was anal one so he included sw in my specs each time he shipped racquets to me, lol

I have many different Dunlops of 200 and 300 series (12-13), now i have an idea to fill the handle with some kind of material, don't decide yet which one, maybe it's a little crazy idea, want more solid feeling in the handle. Anybody have an experience?

I think its better lead tape wrapping + leather grip, if you need remove to sell maybe it'd be easy

What was your reason for playing with MW200? Comfort?

I found it heavy, slow and low power. The racquet that addressed all of this is Dunlop M2.0 -- it is lighter, faster, and has power ( probably the only of Dunlop racquets ).
The expense of course is the comfort. I myself prefer M2.0 to all other previous dunlops.

Did you try also HM, M-Fil, Aerogel and 4D Aerogel?

I've already done it before, I want to try racquet with filled handle for that specific feeling you can't get playing with a hollow one. And lead and leather grip can't help with it.

Could be less vibration...maybe I should do it...but....how much would be enough, I ought to study the procedure because wouldn't be easy to remove if you need...

I don't find it heavy or slow....I added considerable weight to it.
low power? yes. That's what I liked about it. It's an unforgiving beast that requires a full stroke and a good piece of the sweet spot on every shot.
If you are looking for light, quick and powerful I'm not surprised you did not like it.

For me, select pro or dunlop bio 300 tour...but Im not tested bio 200 tour or any others...its very subjective all this

If you like soft and low power, of modern racquets, the equivalent is Tecnifibre TFight 315 LTD. In feel and all other characteristics it is almost indistinguishable.

Unfortunately, nothing close exists anymore in the Dunlop family. They've all gone stiff several generations ago...

Always good to hear... The Tc95 differs from the Dunlop 200 series in spin production and free power... once you learn to use that its a win win. Great stick, and Ive hit with most of them. Its one of those frames that you wonder how it can be so good at both spin and flat hitting. Swingweights for the flexy version might be a bit much for some people but honestly its worth getting used to.

I loved and played with my Dunlop Bio 100 and Dunlop F100 classic many years, sometimes I also played with Dunlop M2.0 wich has a slightly bigger head. Now I switched to Babolat Pure Strike because Dunlop offers no good options for a successor of my beloved Dunlop racquets :(

Babolat Pure Strike Tour with leather grip if SW is very high for you is a good option, one of the most underrated frames in the market for me....
